Funny enough I always forget the shop feature of a marriage in Skyrim.

Greg 100% has a secret boss fight trigger somewhere, either a garlic shrine that awakes his eldritch form or a certain amount of garlic you can steal from his farm to make him mad or a garlic stuffed voodoo doll that suppresses his vampiric bloodline

Its the other way around for me. I would love to go on dates and do stuff with my NPC partners but most games don't have much content in that regard.
Which means it devolves into this sort of situation eventually. There is just no depth to the NPCs of most games, and even if there is it's short-lived before recycling/looping content/dialogue ad nauseam. 🙃
