Too bad they got rid of the 2.0T engine option in the name of “saving the planet”. Really made the Accord competitive with its competition such a shame that Honda went on the bandwagon this time with the 2023 redesign!
Not exactly saving the planet but following market trends. No one was buying the 2.0T Accord unfortunately, just dogshit SUVs and trucks. I'm just glad I grabbed one before they were discontinued.
@@frederickdouglass7517 my 04 G35 6mt ran a 9.1 1/8 and 14.1 1/4 stock with 150,000 miles on it. This new accord ran a 9.4 on this video. Not sure what his quickest pass is so far. Either way unless he is at 9.0 or 8.9 1/8 it's not gonna run a 13.99 1/4. Still not bad for a new car that's technically not a sports car. We know the accord is new and stock, but is that automatic G35 tuned? I feel it should run quicker times than it does.
The second run sounded like the G35 might have some juice helping it the way it pulled up and past you but poor driving took over and that was all she wrote after that.
