On this video, we do a complete unboxing of Row Pow's new 36v trolling motor battery. We then install it into our new Tidewater Boats 2500 Carolina Bay. We then take it out on the water and give it a solid test with the Rhodan 72" 36v trolling motor. I too have been on the fence about making the switch, but the technology is now at a good place with a fair price!

Great video on the actual application. Speaking of application, I’m looking to add a trolling motor to my TW 232 LXF CC with a 36v Li battery. Was wondering if 1 of the 100ah size would be enough to keep the boat on spot lock for several hours per day? Didn’t know if I’d need 2 batteries for that big of a boat with the hardtop that will act like a sail…

Thank you for the video. I watched Will Prose’s video prior to this one, and I think I’m ready to make the switch! One question, though - did the charger for this 36v battery come included or was it a separate purchase?
How did you wire to your "off, 1, 2, 1+2" battery switch? Did you wire the ground of your new battery to the ground of your house battery to avoid electrolysis?
Are you still running this battery? And still recommend it?

This is the EXACT same battery as Epoch for twice the money as Epoch. I mean the battery is EXACTLY the same.
Half the weight, twice the run-time, no voltage sag until the very end, 4 times as many charge cycles and with LiFePO4 there is essentially no risk of thermal runaway, which is critical on a boat. Anybody buying lead-acid batteries for their trolling motor, today, is penny wise and pound foolish.

Why are two motors needed on one boat, one at each end? Why not get one single, better motor?
