This video changed my life. I made a chair. Then I made a table. People started asking me to make things for them. When my adopted parents and 6 adopted brothers and sisters were about to lose their house after momma Jude got her kidney transplant, I started selling comic book furniture. Within 4 months, I was able to get their house out of foreclosure. Now I have 3 adopted teenage sons of my own and we watch this video together every morning before I take them to catholic school. Thank you Impulsive Imagination. You are an inspiration to my family and a gift to humanity.

Awesome! I have plenty of leftover comic pages and I just found two metal folding chairs and a small table by a dumpster. I think the challenge will be to choose color tones from the comics to create a design that does not come off too adolescent. If I could find 2 more chairs I thought it'd be neat to do four separate tones (red, yellow, green, blue) to signify board game colors like from most standard board games. Then use a gaming table. I also wonder about the table surface being "smooth" I assume the epoxy will create that consistent layer. Thanks for the video.

Did you end up trying it? I'm curious how it turned out.

Want to do a project like this for a WALL... 2 questions: what is the difference between modpodge and elmers + water (except price obviously!) Also my husband purchased clear elmers. Was this necessary? White will also clear dry, will the transparent one be okay too? For the resin finish, would you just roll it on? I guess it won't self-level or be as thick, but would it still work or would you use a different product? Also I have read other places to let the under coat dry before going over the top with the glue to avoid wrinkles...? Other places talk about bleed through - our pages are pretty thick (from a glossy page graphic novel...) Thanks for any advice!

Very nice video, I'm curious as to how you did the edges on your table. Did you pour enough for it to run over a little bit then just wiped up the little drips on the edges or did you bush on the epoxy for the edges?

Jokercat I put a tarp under the table and let it drip over the edges.

Ok so I tried this truck photos from a magazine and the pictures were wicking up in the glue. What is the problem here because it was immediate when I applied glue to both sides

What type of glue is elmer's glue?
is it a paper glue, or a wood glue, or what?

I just used cheap Elmer's glue.
Sorry for the late reply, I don't always get the notifications.

Why did you use a fork? Wouldnt it leave ridges from the fork once it dries?

No particular rhyme or reason. I just used it because it was something I could just throw in the trash. It doesn’t leave lines though, it smoothes itself out.

Great video... my girlfriend and I have tried twice but we continue to get terrible bubbles. Any tips for us?

Billdozer Experience yeah, ive done a lot with resin, you have to make sure the pictures are flat, but you have to make sure the resin is mixed really well. pour it on and then after it is spread, use a long lighter to pop the bubbles but just over it, and dont touch the resin cause i had fingerprints in mine. haha

Billdozer Experience if you use a plumber torch to pass over the resin after its applied it will pop all the bubbles..
