Atrocious rebuild quality control

I've been replacing steering gears every 10 000km, and this new rebuild is slack even BEFORE I install it. I use GM factory powersteering fluid, I have a power steering oil cooler fitted.
I have returned it, waiting on another one and cannot use my truck. All are under warranty claim but my time is not compensated.
I could use a nice PSC unit and should have bought one in the first place.
Buy cheap, buy twice....or 4 times...

Update. I have now blown the new unit I got after this one. Same thing, the output shaft is wallowed out and moves sideway and ate the seal !

You need to rebuild these yourself these days. They just buy whatever junk core that some mega recycler is selling Clean it up and ship it

I bet. Im buying a PSC next. 2gran at my door but no choice, those bad units are killing my tires

I used LEE in California before but I probably wont again they hiked the prices owned by some hollywood guy now. Next one ill just have to reseal myself @@Veikra

I won't even look at a Cardone rebuild. They are junk.

Yep, installed it anyways but looking into a PSC unit. Trying to figure out shipping. 180$ shipping without insurance is a no go. Might send to a US friend across the border
