You're doing your own thing, making a living, spending time together, what could be better, not much. Sharing this time with your spouse and getting paid for it. This is all good stuff. I certainly enjoy the work and skill you are putting into it. Thanks, boring for you, entertainment for me!
I agree with Brittany. She's always right. Never argue with your good help
Brittany is a winner. Love that smile.😊❤

Brittany, you're the prettiest sawyer/tractor operator I ever saw.❤ Your hubby? Well, not so much.😂😂😂

We build alot of custom pallets that hold a half cord for our firewood business . I like how you have the cutoff saw an table right next to ware you are milling . Id say i need to build something similar to speed our process up . Thanks for the idea ,thats why we like watching you 2 saw .
Thanks for watching, and glad we could help! I watch other channels as well to get ideas to improve our setup here!

Makes you really appreciate the LT 40 when turning those monsters
Indeed it does!
Congratulations on the win Brittany 🏆
Thanks!
Take a look at frame 15:26. That's the perfect picture of both of you together. You should print that frame and hang it on the wall . A great memory picture for Aden when he gets older. Mom and Dad working the sawmill together.
I agree with frame 15:26! Would make a nice 16x20 for the living room wall! Great video guys!!!
It is Friday afternoon and believe this or not, I got my wife to sit down and watch it. We both were raised here in East TN in the country. Brittany, she is amazed by you and how you can step right in and run things too. Just a word to say Good Job . Jim and Brenda Fishburn Maryville TN. Both are fans.
Thank you guys!
Interesting
Well done Brit- beat the old man at his own game!

You're welcome!
I couldn't even guess on how many pieces,I did guess that the underwater log was Wallnut, just because I have few logs for the fire pit. I've had them for almost 20 years and I still don't thiink I can split them with my hand splitter.
Hey buddy how are ya? I love how you and your lovely bride can work together so well. I admire what y’all are doing. Love running my sawmill, I haven’t figured out a constant paying customer yet, just folks who need rough sawn lumber, or siding.
Check with local pallet companies. They usually buying cut stock.
there is a ap that can take pic and auto count things like that stack instantly.
❤
I enjoy your videos, thanks. We have 20 acres here. I have a bunch of pine trees on my property that I consider a nuisance. Many of these trees are 25-30 inches in diameter and very tall. When I bought the place I thought I would be able to sell them, but there are restrictions on hauling logs in this county. It requires a permit that is difficult to get. I have been cutting these trees up and piling the big pieces in the back. I burn the smaller stuff. I also have about 6 acres of very nice hardwood. I have talked to some local loggers, but it seems there is not enough here to be worth the hassle of dealing with code enforcement. I hate wasting all of this and would love to get it milled into something salable. Suggestions? I am too old and weak to do it myself.
look for someone in your area with a portable mill. they might even help with selling the milled lumber.
interested in your pallet assembly HOWS IT DONE get it lol
That looks like some serious work moving the logs on the mill, and much harder if one of you has to miss a day of work. How long until you get a mill with hydraulics? Keep up the great work!
2ba4 hehehe love it
Lol
Just curious what does a pallet of that wood go for?

It seems to me that a log that size would be more valuable cut into 2 x 12s.
Maybe. But you have to saw what can be sold. I as a business can’t wait till someone comes along and buys the wider stuff. I have to sell to my consistent buyers. Pallet stock is good consistent pay.
180...
I figured about 225 but I didn't get it in soon enough.
Super close!
@@wallacefarmandsawmill I really enjoy the way that you two young folks work together. That's a prime example of what a MARRIAGE can be like.
