Sun light causes oxidation on paint and vinyl. That is where you will find it mostly. The side with all the mold and mildew has less sunlight and likely to have less or no oxidation.
Nice thx for your video. FYI if your doing flatwork driveways or gas stations grab a gallon of degreaser from harbor freight it's called super degreaser and has lemon scent $11.99. Downstreamed 20:1 at gas station job and came out great. Still have 3/4 left of gallon hope this helps aka cheap chemicals that work
Thank you bro!! My 2nd house I did earlier this week I oxidized the dam house and have been stressing on how to solve the issue Hopefully I get the same results
Great information. So is it safe to say do oxidiation first then wash the house? I am curious are there indicators on your first inspection that would have alerted you to this?
Yes there are signs that will let you know if there is oxidation is there. When you first get to the house gently rub the sides with your fingers/hand and if you have a chalky type stuff on your hand that matches that particular color siding, then it’s oxidizing. But there are also cases where you can cause flash oxidation, that’s what I needed up doing here. That side of the house sits directly in the sun. I soaped that side down and continued to walk around the rest of the house and that side dried up. Once that happens the rinse process is that much harder and causes the siding to bring out oxidation. It’s like putting soap on your body, then instead of rinsing off you just go straight outside and let the sun dry you off with the soap still on.
@@danielmiramontes8611 yea I used dawn for a while then went to the laundry soap and after this flash oxidation situation I had a convo with my mentor and got some different stuff. I’ll give the name of it when I get back home or make a video on it
Ok, I agree that the chemical I used for a surfactant could have been better. However, I used commercial grade SH at a minimum of 10% which is then diluted to 1% with the downstream I run. The house was indeed soft wash, I never have and never will use pressure on a house. But I do agree that I need to keep learning and growing within the business. If you have a surfactant that you recommend please let me know.
Great video and a honest business man!
No pun intended but this video was AWESOME! You dropped some other good nuggets of advice in there as a bonus. Thanks so much for sharing

Awesome informative video, thanks man
I saw online that that stuff is 3% sodium hyperchloride.
If that helps.
I will definitely keep that in mind as I move forward
the bad side is probably is the west side that was oxidized
I woud think North.....like moss side on trees. On my house it sure is North side only
Thanks let me go get some
WOW!!! THANK YOU SIRRRRR
Welcome
Good video
7:10 you can see on the screen of window that the Zorro was here
Yes but that also did not come from me. It was like that before I started. No pressure on house ever!!
Thanks bro
What surfactant did you use ?
For this wash I believe I used a laundry soap. Won’t be using again tho I uses a completely different surfactant now
I thought about using laundry soap too haha but I ended up buying elemonator, what do you use ?

U better hope she doesn't sue u. To fix that oxidation u caused from cheap chemicals and not soft washing that house. Could cost u thousands to fix
