I was the guy it worked for from the last video. I was working in 110 degree temps, and I had to rush immediately when in the sun. Just no way to let it dwell in that heat. I found it super helpful on the higher areas, that are more difficult to brush (I have bad shoulders).
I think the main takeaway here is there is no “one size fits all” with chems and processes. We all fine tune our processes and procedures, and that makes us experts in our own individual way. I find that really beautiful. Thanks for the video, as always!

You are a brave man tackling these. I only want to have effective chems for those instances when the softwash goes bad but other than that, I wouldn't even offer it as a service.

First time watcher, great informative video. I see you have tested this product along with Eaco chems Cleansol BC. I see you have mixed results with both. Do you think it would be worth spending time making your own mixture with sodium hydroxide and water ratio to test out?

I tried OxKnox on 2 metal buildings. It didn't work. I used it strait with heavy brushing. It wouldn't take the last 20% off. I may test it out on a vinyl job next. Cleansall BC is hard to beat.

I have used oxnox a lot. It really does work at 9:40 it looks like you let it dry. You cannot let it dry at all. And I know you talk about chem locking but you got to keep it from getting dry just a little Spritz here and there to keep it from drying cuz it looks like it did work on the spots where it didn't dry

I have seen the video of it working as advertised and I have seen your videos.
Bud it’s literally this simple .
You don’t have enough rinsing power and that is your choice.
If you had a 5.5 gpm with a ball valve it would have been a different outcome.
From what I’ve seen it comes off with ease with a little pressure.
A ball valve is not skin breaking pressure but it’s significantly more than your setup .
I suggest you get a buddy with a pressure washer or rent one and try it again.
98 percent of so called soft wash companies actually use a ball valve off there pressure washer to rinse.

I’ve tried pressure with my 8pm after full strength in the shade at 75F and I still had to brush the heck out of it. Not knocking it but I can’t get it to be brushless after several vinyl houses. Maybe I got a bad batch?🤷🏼 I’d love to figure this out because it would be the Bomb!

Yes 👍 A 32 oz to 1 gallon mix seems to work perfectly for me especially when the dwell time needs to be under two mins. On Hardie Board I always start off with a lower mix ration and work my way up to figure out the best results.

Just curious never done it but is oxidation removal profitable for the amount of time it takes, I'm in Texas and we have alot of oxidation and extreme heat.

    • @mountainviewsoftwash9135
      @mountainviewsoftwash9135  10 місяців тому

Yes, it can be profitable as long as you’re pricing your jobs accordingly. Also, if you have a small crew that can cut the time in half that might make things even more palpable. In my case I do all of my jobs solo so it takes me a little bit longer, but I still charge accordingly. .95 to $1.50 a square foot depending on a few variables. Size of home color of paint amount of oxidation, type of siding, etc..

In my opinion it doesn't work. I used it last Saturday (3-16-24) and it didn't remove the oxidation even I had to brush the walls. I diluted it 50/50. It is expensive and low quality. I did a best job with Awesome after that, so i waist money.
