The strategic plan is intended to guide the organization's leaders in their decision-making moving forward.

Businesses help customers go from current state -> desired state. In our own lives, we have where we are now; and where we'd like to go. Individuals & Businesses cast Visions (desired states) to lead themselves, their people, and their customers (impact to others, in the sense of individuals). If the current state = desired state, then no action would need to be taken. But because current >< desired state, something needs to change. The process of change is what we deem as the verb, transform. To Transform is to change from one state to the next. Like a caterpillar that transforms to a butterfly. A business is a collection of individuals (organization). The business has cast its vision, so it must transform itself to be the vehicle in service to leading & executing on that vision. So Organizational Transformation is the process the business has to go through to match its desired state.
