I once thought the new Countach was just a cash grab by Lamborghini. "An Aventador with new clothes" I said.
I was wrong. I was really, really wrong.
This car is just spectacular in person. Coming from a brand that typically over styles literally every inch of sheet metal and carbon fiber, this car was marvelously designed somewhat understatedly. Every panel has well thought out nods to the original poster car. The attention to detail makes this not only a wonderful tribute to the first Countach, but a car that will go down in the books as one of the best Lamborghini designs ever brought to us. Gold on gold was absolutely the right choice on this one as well. I see many examples in white, but it doesn't do this car justice. All the angles work the flake in beautiful ways.

My favorite new era Lambo. Not too over styled and works flawlessly capturing what a modern Countach should look like.
I 100% agree. They could have gone absolutely bonkers with it but I feel like it's somewhat reserved.

This Gold / Bronze colour is the perfect match for the exterior styling. Lovely car.
Saw my first lambo in a magazine back in the 90s and instantly fell in love and was in a state of awe. I loved the murci and the aventador but seeing this brings back the exact same feeling as when I saw that first red contach as a kid, and in gold of all colors.
I couldn't think of a more spectacular synergy of color and design! The gold, black, carbon texture.... Truly amazing..., that kid has spectacular taste!

What I mean with simple ... well ... you can not call a Lamborghini a "simple" car.
But compared with the Aventador for example, it isn't that robust, but just pure Class!

I love all Countach variants and feel it alone embodies the truest spirit of the original super car. But, the untouched minimalist purity of the original LP400 was perfection. The later versions with massive wings and arches etc. were cool in their own right; but the original is the best case ever of ‘no need to guild the lily’… or, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t mend it!’ So pleased to see this new version paying such good homage to the simplicity of the original design. Bravo!

Had the OG poster, but since ya did a lawn close up, switch to a reel mower, water alot and work your way down to 3/4 or half inch every other day mowing. Never cut more than 1/3 at a time to get low. Edge with a rotary scissors from Japan, your property will look 1000x better, I'd bet my life on it. May need to do some lawn leveling too with sand, looks a little bumpy.

I like some aspects of the new one, but it feels more Aventador than Countach to me. The original is still infinitely more desirable.

So nice, but WHY no pop up headlights? The headlights are also too high. The headlights are below the pop ups, which makes the countach very distinct. Such an incredible miss of an overall great design.
I heard pop up headlights are not legal anymore in a lot of places so can't knock Lamborghini for going for that option.
@@FarazMooschranHuq yeah , so than lower the headlights to the countach level, and maybe create vents , or some Nice styling elements, where the pop ups are. Would look so much nicer. Maybe that isn’t possible too.
Yes as a FD RX7 owner he’s right I’m afraid. Pop-up headlights were essentially banned in the 90’s due to pedestrian impact safety law. I’m not 100% sure but the height of the headlights is partly the same deal. They have to be at a certain height for regulation purposes now. Ratio wise they are pretty much in the same place as the original pop-up Countach ones, as you say. The indicator and side light elements would’ve been below. Car looks amazing though. They’ve fine tuned it from the original concept from last year.
