The Warmth. Best song by Incubus! 🔥
Medium is the jam.
That’s a good one. For me, it’s gotta be Privilege or certain shade of green or Pardon Me.
That whole album 🔥
warning
@@gena6827 that’s a good one too.
Brandon is pure chill
that dogs facial expressions are great he looks like a hardcore singer
The most lovable vocalist of any kind of band on the face of this world's!... Brandon B. of Incubus....
My First rock concert was incubus touring for the SCIENCE album, which is still one of my favorite albums of any band. 🤘
Heavy Incubus is dope !!
Let’s get a incubus / hatebreed colab !!
Seen incubus more than 10 times, I lost count, last summer was amazing especially after being deprived from cv it was a beautiful experience, seeing them again in few weeks!! Rock on incubus, you guys always rock my socks off every show. Never gets old!! Heal up well Ben Kenney! Much love blessings and much gratitude! See yall at the show! 🍄💀🤘💚🎵♾
I love this man so much
Perfect timing, as I’m rediscovering the band after being a huge fan in the late 90’s and early 00’s. Fortunate to see Incubus at the old strand in Providence during Snocore. Absolutely amazing.
Incubus should make a harder album next. Would be sick. Just saw them in Ocean City last night and they were incredible! Bucket list #4 complete.
Every single hippie/rock/metal girl from my generation was so fucking love with Brandon, holy fuck. To the point you couldn't hear Incubus at all :D
Great to see this conversation
He is absurdly handsome.
Brandon's such an awesome dude, thanks for bring him in on Jamie! MMF 2024 🤘
When Brandon says certain songs saved his life… that’s exactly what Incubus has done for me 🙏🏼
'So pardon me while I burst
Intooo flames' !!!
I saw Incubus play to a few hundred people at The Masquerade in Ybor in the late '90s. Not too much later, they were one of the biggest rock bands around. I'd say their wedding core tracks paid off.
Still have a poster signed by everyone in incubus that I got at boathouse in Norfolk, va back in late 90s. Saw them twice there one show was in this order system of a down, snot, incubus and soulfly. Was an amazing night. Rip Lynn!
Great interview. Always love to hear him speak and get his perspective. Such a smart, chill guy. Also, is no one noticing the wedding band? Maybe I’m late to the game here but…congratulations, Brandon?!
Weddingcore 😂 I walked down the aisle at my wedding to an Incubus song hahaha
What song?? ECHO??? thats awesome i regret my wedding song now...19 years on 6/19...after thinking about it i wish we would of danced to "Arrested by you" by Rupert Hine! we both love that song but we sold out and danced to a played out wedding song....wont say what it is but if i never hear it again it will be to soon....
@@amee2966 it was an instrumental of I Miss You, followed by some Johnny Cash as we left the ceremony. We got married on Halloween so we had a horror punk band for the reception 🤣 I’d do a lot of things different now 13 years later, could always do a vow renewal one day
@@troublesomethings WOW!!! INCREDIBLE!! At least you had a cool wedding....i gave in to my mother and it was too traditional....i actually hated my wedding day....to much attention on us and i wanted to elope numerous times...but i hear ya about renewing vows....but thats what marriage is....we have been through so much that im proud we stuck it out this far, lol! you cant possibly know what lies ahead on your wedding day....i was 28 and clueless and little did i know what it takes to maintain a marriage....all these brides that have to have the perfect wedding and stress about ONE day crack me up!! They have a whole marriage to figure out after that one day, ya know!! i would love to renew my vows and i would do it my way this time!!
@@amee2966 haha yes I always joke “next marriage I’ll elope”
@@troublesomethings 💕💕😂😂
This is just what i need, Brandon's wisdom for boost 🥰 and when i think that he can't be more perfect, he says that he likes John Zorn and i am in love again like 20+ years ago 😅😅i just adore this guy
Brandon is such a cool dude. Loved Incubus back in the day. Saw them on the Make Yourself and Morning View tours. Great live band and have a lot of classic tunes. And they’re still at it after nearly 30 years of being a band.
32 years already!
2 legends on stage 🔥🔥🔥
Brandon is a solid dude! cool episode
PS hey Jasta..stop with the fake backgrounds it looks weird man and tell hoya to stop it too lol
Great chat, love Incubus.
I’ve watched a bunch of interviews with Brandon, Jamey you are the Fucken best bro! Hats off to you my brother, let us all unite for Fucken great music and killer cool stories. Gold!🏴☠️🎶💛👊
I seen Incubus live in 2010 and it was a fantastic show. Thanks for the interview Mr. Jasta..... I was kind of unsure about going because i was a huge Dirk Lance fan since i play the bass as well. But Ben is a phenomenal musician... Get well soon my friend .. but Incubus gained a phenomenal player....
Hope to catch them again soon ..
Dirk was a beast on the bass. When he left the band was never the same.
@@robowop9354 you def correct on that...
Love Hatbreed and Incubus
That's really classy. I appreciate that
Science is one of the best albums of all time. Front to back, pound for pound
They should make the next album as if SCIENCE had a baby with Make Yourself.
Ahhh that would be SO GOOD
Oh hell yes, it is GOLD.
Great Episode!
I’m cracking up with the image of Enya doing metal haha! Loved this thank you!
I wish the UK had a considered & well thought out lead singer.
Well done Jamey love this episode
Pure gold! 🙏🏻
Really enjoyed this episode 🔥
Super cool episode.
Did not expect this lol I am an ol stool Incubus fan tho 🤘🏽
Love this channel. Been a HATEBREED fan since 02ish. Great content brother. 🤘🤘
Talking about rock singers that can scream within their songs. In my opinion, Steven Tyler can belt out a scream better than a banshee. Damn that man is aging, but he still can sing his songs and scream it too.
As a Brandon Boyd fan, listening to him get confused about this specific quote (at 51:53 ) got me wanting to correct him!!! I'm an avid Da Vinci admirer so: Art is never finished, only abandoned.
Leonardo da Vinci
never thought i'd see this. wild.
Super insightful interview, can't wait for the flood gates to open.
Is he in Topanga ? his home ? :D I love his attitude towards animals.
James Blunt is a real one. He was in the British military for 6 years. Also served with NATO response forces. You're smart to not talk shit. When he says "what are you gonna do?" He means it. 😂
Loneliest is my favorite last album, but Summer Romance rules!! ❤ anti gravity...yeah
When I worked on a manlift(standup forklift) I kept my cellphone in my backpocket.. Months later ended up with a disgusting sort of boil in my ass cheek that connected to the same spot in the phone where the wifi chip was. I also had a cat that used to sleep on my router all the time and ended up with tumor all over his stomach and died of a very progressive cancer.
I wanted to hear about the tour with the amazing Tal Wilkenfeld. I wanted them to collaborate so badly. 😅
Brandon touching on how people are missing the perspective of having to say opinions in person (and potentially being punched in the face for it) is perfect. If somebody wants to punch you for what you're saying then it's probably time to reconsider what you're saying.
Also the breakdown in “Trouble In 421” off Fungus Amongus is Fucken brilliant.🎶👊
Hey Jamey, get Josh from Sylosis on the podcast!
Earworms
phones i try to use speaker ... all the air pods and wire headphones cant be great
Baby shark doo doo doo🎶🎶
S.C.I.E.N.C.E
Finally found the podcast. love everything but the greenscreen.
Earpods could be a quick fix. the software is struggling to determine if the headset is part of your head. robot stoopid lol
Hands down Science is their best! What an exciting, dynamic album! Thanks for the video guys! 🤘
3g has been sunset for well over a year so if its working for you then they neglected to turn those servers off
You want this product called Shungite, to absorb emf.
Also, remember the cause for eliminating lead out of paint?? Cuz… “kids were eating… paint chips”? Huh?? 🤨 OR… was intended to prevent us from making our homes into a faraday cage?
What?
Redefine, vitamin, new skin. Best opening tracks off any of their albums and a lot of others in my opinion! 👊🌻
I thought it was the real INCUBUS.😑
I understand how difficult things were during the pandemic for musicians that make their living from touring and so on. I also agree that a lot of mistakes were made and it's pretty clear there was also a lot of improvisation like Brandon says. Also, some people are assholes online and just love to stir shit around. But downplaying the severity of COVID is frankly silly and suggesting that from now on we shouldn't do anything if another novel virus spreads and just "be human" is just dangerous. If that's really the takeaway from all this crap then we're fucked when the next one comes around.
“Severity of covid” behave yourself lad. Biggest scam in the history of the world.
Well said. I took care of research mice for several years, and I learned that science is a very grueling, time consuming endeavor. I’ve gotten a little allergic to the whole “man behind the curtain” narrative. Leadership around covid was dumb with masks in the beginning, and then over zealous news anchors about the vaccines. I don’t think that means we we stop listening to scientific consensus and just not take it seriously if something similar happens again
No, you’re fucked when the next one comes around because you’re still a mental slave.
I was incredibly disappointed to hear Brandon of all people downplaying COVID. "Be human" is accepting that not everyone is healthy and the virus can have real serious, long lasting or instant damage, and being empathetic to that. It's not about "the media", it's about independent, fact based, evidence based evidence and literal history of how COVID played out. You can get Vitamin D as well as protect yourself and the compromised people within our community.
Been a hardcore fan of Incubus since 98 and that really fucking sucked to hear from him.
I like some Incubus but it was a dull interview, didn't really learn much about him or the band.
Jasta wtf this isn't the real incubus
Huh?
@@VivaSexyChilena look up metal band incubus tyg
This is the singer from incubus he’s just old now lol are you on drugs?
They never been hard heavy as an alternative metal funk metal alternative rock band despite them shitting on nu metal i don't like at all
Jamey - James Blunt is ex military that’s why he’s so retaliatory
Nice show @mybrandonboyd
