I will personally reply to you all!
I am getting one!
Awesome! 🙌
Not in the UK , you ain’t
Hi Nick 😃 Thanks for the interesting overview. - I imagine it would be exciting to drive around town with this monster. 🤪 - And if I were a rancher in Montana, it would probably be more of a toy. 😉
Haha thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah it would be interesting for sure! 👍🏼
The shaprp edges mean it will never be sold in UK or Aus
I love it, I really hope it comes here…Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Sharp ends? Keep your bloody fingers of it then.
😅
Great review as usual. We have three of them running around our city, and I told my roommate while we were in his S580, stay away from it, you don’t want it to damage your car. Ha ha ha ha. Anyways, one of the UA-camrs I follow is hoovies garage. He did a partial take apart, and it was startling what he found on his one week old cyber truck.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video! 🤓
Hi nick, just a random question.. if you were given the choice to choose between Gla 200 v Cla 200 premium plus 2024 model, which one would you go for, as i am not sure which one to buy.
If I didn’t have a dog, 🐶 then I’d go CLA. It was on my list to buy one but went with A-Class instead for cost savings.
But now I have a dog a GLA would definitely be better! I’ve reviewed both have you watched both videos?
@npoleary thank you so much for your quick reply. I have watched your Gla review but i haven't watched Cla review which i will watch as i tought you didn't do one. I am going with Cla which o really love and within my budget. You are simply amazing, you are the reason i still stay with mercedes as your reviews are amazing and you make it simple to understand.
Oh yeah I did one!

Awh thank you! 🙏
Mmmmmm please stick to mercs nick😂...hahaha gazz
I can’t stick to just covering Mercedes I‘ve done UA-cam full time now since last year when I made an announcement video.
And besides I’ll reveal the true reason to why I decided to cover more brands in the future one day.
If you just want the Mercedes stuff that I film on my car, new models and at my local dealer, I add those videos to dedicated playlists on my homepage.
How do you find the indicators quickly if the steering wheel isn't horizontal?
The steering wheel is way lighter than a normal car, so you barely have to turn the wheel to do a turn so the steering wheel barely turns a few degrees to do a left or right turn.
However when you do turn it round further, I guess it’ll just be muscle memory! 🤓
it's not road legal in the UK, it fails pedestrian safety rules.
I was the driver of the transporter that dropped it off and collected it
Oh I gave you a wave literally as you were standing on the back of your truck at around midnight
Strange guy with all the camera bags 😂
You picked it up from my work😏
It's not getting good 'press' I see?
At its launch when Elon Musk threw an iron ball at the window and it cracked that was considered “not good press” but it’s one hell of a way to get marketing out there.
Some say it was on purpose 😅
Well…either way you can’t deny the amount of head turning it does in public. I would say 8/10 people stop and take a photo based on what I saw yesterday 😅
Nick I don't think they took pictures of the useless car they took pictures because you were there , literally 😉
Haha it was defo not me they were taking pictures of 😂
Have you had a look at Mercedes-Benz X-class electric?
No I haven’t, I thought Mercedes discontinued their pickup?
I think the X class, was only made for two years. And it was based on a Nissan truck as a joint venture. The front looked amazingly Mercedes, the rear totally Nissan. And the finish inside wasn’t the greatest. I wish Mercedes would make a truck again From the ground up, I would buy one.
If usually you drive a Unimog or a large van or a Horsebox then you ought to feel at home driving something that large.
All the vehicles mentioned are legally used on our roads so I don’t see who this ought to be seen as illegal here in the uk.
I think it’s due to Euroncap and its pointy edges.
They’re not entirely pedestrian friendly…
Looks like a box of steel with weals, I am glad not to be sold in the UK
Es excesivo para Europa. Saludos.
Looks like something built on scrap heap challenge with sheet metal.
I don't understand manufacturers' infatuation with electronic door latches. I imagine the engineers have "developed" a way of mechanically accessing the vehicle if the battery dies, but for safety reasons, they need a mechanical back-up inside the vehicle in the event of an emergency. Some manufacturers hide them in inconvenient places, which, in an emergency will probably be the cause of death, but in the Cybertruck's case, it is more convenient than the electronic release button. What's the point?
Frameless windows
Because 'MERICA
You say "literally" a lot
Yeah I guess I literally do
Actually those sharp corners make it dangerous. I don’t get why they didn’t round out the corners to get more sales and improve its looks.
Exactly why it won’t be sold here in the UK…unless there’s a rounded off / lighter version
Looks hideous, but an awesome piece of marketing noise for Tesla currently. Saying that, is it badged as a Tesla or have they avoided it, to limit its future damage to the Tesla brand or visa versa? Not a thing for safety on UK or European roads. Will be a fun object for a car museum in years to come, to grab a photo next to.
I didn’t pay that much attention to the badges but on the one there it said Founders edition or foundation edition or something
@@npolearythanks for the reply Nick. Will keep an eye out on other images. Appreciate your reviews as always.
Good brief review. What an odd looking thing. It's like a giant ugly toy car.
Glad you enjoyed the quick first look at it! It was quite an interesting car for sure! 👍🏼
The CyberTruck is a deathtrap
It’s actually the safest vehicle on the road!
After the latest recall / update probably! But only for the occupants!
Fascinating but as ugly as the CoOp live building.
Space Karen's Sillytruck.
The most hideous monstrosity of a motor vehicle ever created, it looks like it was designed by a 6 year old & built by his grandfather in his garden shed.
Nothing wrong with designing a concept car and actually going through with the designs to make it work in real life.
But the amount of head turning it did yesterday in London is out of this world!
Someone in Africa has built a mock-up of it based on an ordinary car and it's hilarious.
@@npoleary you can do all sorts of stupid and embarrassing things in public to get attention. Design a really stupid car works too.
This is so ugly. Wouldn’t want this for free.
it looks like a crudely made trash can. Not impressed at all.
I know you are a Mercedes Guyyy… I just want to ask, will there be an EQE Coupe?
Well I don’t know about a Mercedes Guyyy 😅
I drive one as a daily and have made a fair few videos on them 😂 but that’s about it
That would be cool, sadly not heard of anything
If I hear anything I’ll make a video!
I hope & pray that monstrosity never gets certification to be allowed to be driven on any road in Europe, including & especially not any roads here in the UK.
Well for starts it’s way too big and yes would need quite a bit of modification to even work here. I haven’t heard any rumours of it doing so.
However…as something to look at you can’t deny that it’s a head turner. Honestly I’ve never seen so many people, even people who were running late for work, stop and take photos.
Thoughts, one of the ugliest vehicles I've ever seen.
Would I photograph is yes, but not because I think it's nice. More because it's a spectacle.
Also, I'm not sure it's the weight that stops it being sold here. It'll certainly have a significant effect on widespread adoption but anyone with the right license can drive. What does prevent it being here is how quickly it'll kill you if you're a pedestrian. I don't believe it meets NCAP standards for pedestrian impact.
I would guess that this channel is not inherently anti EV so the massive wave of negativity in the comments shows how lousy this thing is. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make a car that resembled a public urinal ?
I think it's more that's it's just far out there...Owners who have them in the USA love them but it's designed for over there, not here in the UK. I personally wanted to check it out anyway
@@npoleary it is not “Far out”, it is garbage. I cannot ever recall a new car with so many basic design faults. And I have serious issues with pedestrian safety. Luckily, I guess the model will be out of production within five years.
if I'm honest Nick its the ugliest car ever made, no style too sharp angles that will kill instantly for a pedestrian and I'm glad its not coming over here.
It’s out there for sure! It’s almost like a concept car that was designed for the future but instead of going through the usual process it went straight to production and boom! They we go!
It’s fascinating to look at though, one of the reasons why I travelled to London to see it. I missed the Northern Lights on the night though because of it :(
@@npolearySorry Nick but if you forgave seeing the Northern lights in order to view this design disaster which is arguably the ugliest car ever, you need some help.
I review cars for a living this is my job now I do this full time.
Not sure people will have wanted to watch Northern Lights on my channel anyway, not really related to cars! 😅
I wouldn't buy one. Like, ever. All over the internet are articles, comments, tweets and YT videos of what a rubbish vehicle it is, including being dangerous, rusting within days, and more. If and when I buy my first electric vehicle it will NOT be a Tesla.
I can’t comment on long term use as I couldn’t drive it so this video is not labelled as a “Review”. But I can and have tested the Model 3 and Model Y. They are nothing like the Cybertruck from the points you mentioned, they are actually pretty decent.
So, quick question if not a Tesla what EV would you consider in the future? What brand or model? 🤓
@@npoleary Thanks Nick! There are other reasons why I won't buy other Teslas.
Share if you don’t mind, I’m always curious and love hearing people’s thoughts 🤓
What a ugly car
by far the ugliest car ever made nd if u get knocked over by that then u have no chance of walking away fm it with that front end on it
One ugly looking vehicle!
