Hi Linda. I get exactly what your saying about “shyness” I was the same when younger, never would walk in a room unless it was behind someone else. Never wanted to speak incase I said the wrong thing etc etc, but as I am a lot older now(in 70s) and don’t worry anymore🤷♀️. By the way, you have increased in confidence so much with your Chanel , it is very obvious from the start. Well, done. Love listening to you👍
not sure why your subs have not increased at a faster rate, I am in my 80s and thoroughly enjoy your content. I really relate to your anxiety about several things including parking meters and getting fuel. ❤
Hello again Linda, really enjoyed your video today. Part of it really resonated with me, i was very shy when I was young.Which gladly has improved, but I'm not a confident out going person now.The anxiety issue, like you I over think things sometimes. Also the planning for a trip out is what I also tend to do. Good luck with your channel and gaining more subscribers.Just carry on doing what you do Linda, because lots of us enjoy the chats and your stories.Xx
Hi Linda enjoyed your chatty chat ❤ I am lucky as I have a current husband 😂 who does stuff but that gives me the excuse not to do go out and do stuff for myself which isn’t good for my mental health. I really need to get out and do stuff for myself. Looking forward to seeing the clothes if they are in stock. Jx
Hi Linda I have found this video very helpful and interesting I enjoyed watching you video thanks again for sharing this with us and I looking forward to seeing more of you video ❤️xxx
Yes totally agree with liking the spring Linda.Watching the buds on the hedges leap into life and the trees leafing up, and then everything turns into magnificent shades of green. At the moment we have a snowdrop in the garden with two tiny blooms, and they dangle one above the other looking like a pair of teardrop pearl earrings..Oh lovely Spring and new beginnings.Brill vid Linda 😊 x
Hi Linda, really enjoyed your video as usual . I can relate to the anxiety issues especially filling the car with fuel. Don’t know if you’re aware Lego have a miniature Schnauzer dog. Could be your next project 😉. See you Friday x
Linda, if you can still do the can-can I think it would be only fair for you to give us a demonstration! 😃 It's my request for your next video! Seriously, hope your shin feels more comfortable soon. We older ladies and gents do need to be extra careful as skin's thinner and we don't always bounce any more or heal quite as quickly. I count myself really lucky that I'm not anxious at all, but I do get sad in my old age. Not depression but I really feel everything really deeply. I can weep over babies, sad movies, poorly treated donkeys, other people's misfortunes - all sorts of things. Almost everything, in fact. I agree about shyness, and lots of situations have been made harder for me over the years because of it, but I have now found that old age boldness, and feel I am actually entitled to a bit of eccentricity and bolshiness (not to be confused with rudeness, of course). What I find is my biggest difficulty in old age now is sensory overload. I just can't take noise, crowds and rush. It was a great topic for discussion. We all have hang-ups and our ways of trying to cope. Shirt's really nice, nice shape and great colours for you! 👍 See you soon!
I just hate the winter full stop cold ,wet &dark nights yuk. Roll on spring can’t come quick enough for me. I don’t do petrol when my hubby retired we went down to 1 car , he always says my car . So I thought your car you can pay for the petrol 😂. My dad owned a garage back in the day before self service I started working there when I was 10 slave labour I know ! I got paid in green shield when the punters didn’t want them , got all my Christmas presents with them happy days . X
Hi Linda I had same problem with my hair ! Think alot of these expensive shampoos have sulfates in them! I change to coconut shampoo an conditioner my hair has been in really good condition since ! Hope this helps x
Hi Linda, so fed up of the lose weight, keep fit thing in January! Worst month! Last thing want to do on these dark cold morning and evenings just want to snuggle and watch TV ❤xx…the shirt is lovely ❤x
Hi linda i really liked your video today my birthday is the same month as yours the trouble with me i have always been accident prone even as a child always banging my elbows and bruising like a peach i wont be taken for granted and will hold my ground if because of my age they might think they can get away with it as one of my sisters said to mr start as you mean to go on great advice she is older than me your videos are always nice thankyou take care x
My hair seems to have grown like a weed over the last few months - must have been all that Christmas celebrating! Try a dab of castor oil on your dry skin patch - i swear by it for all sorts of little skin problems - organic and cheap and chips!
Firstly, apologies, linda, I did send you a message re:- your last vlog, and I think I pressed the delete button instead of the send button.. hence, you didn't get it as i know you always try to reply. sorry, I'm not very good with any form of technology, but I do try hard. On that subject: I'm exactly the same as you. I drive, and I'm ok at filling up with petrol, but I have driven since the age of 17. Therefore, i just can't do a train unless I'm with someone. I can't use a ticket machine and I now don't like doing the ticket machines in car parks either. I'm now 61, and my confidence is slowly dwindling away, and it's horrible, so you are not alone, linda. I really don't like what happens to us during the ageing process, but I know that we just have to get on with it. Our doctors have just introduced booking appointments online only no more booking by phone. If I'm no good at doing it now, what will I do when I'm even older. Technology is good for some but not always for others. Maybe this would be a great vlog, linda-copeing with technology with age!!! Blouse looked great. X❤
