I have worked on many relaying sites with Network Rail but never one like this! No high vis gear, no hard hats, no anything but funnily enough the job was completed safely and effectively!! Brilliant video again. Thanks.
excellent. here in australia we forgot about the usefulness of temporary trackwork. there is some great videos showing how the panama canal was built using temporary tracks. in melbourne on the level crossing removal program they use tip trucks. lots of tip trucks. and all short wheelbase tippers too. i bet the trucks weren't just going around the corner with their loads. they should have incorporated temporary track when doing trenchrail projects.
