It's so great to see how the dream you once mentioned is now coming to fruition! Wishing you guys nothing but safe travels and loads of great memories!
I sure liked your short list of boats, we have the IP35. We are also fans of full keel boats but worried about close quarter maneuvering. Happy to report - in a 20kt blow inbound to the slip at a slow speed, we could thread the eye of a needle. My wife is at the helm for all the tight quarters maneuvers and I handle the lines. This approach has sure built confidence on our team. Wind and wave in your favor.
Oh wow that’s awesome! So far we have had good luck too with coming into a slip with our full keel, but we also have yet to do it in a 20kt blow! We feel we have great maneuverability in any forward direction, but in reverse we tend to pull very hard to starboard. Paige prefers to be at the helm as well (she also loves being in control in general 😆), but so far it’s working for us and we’ve had no meltdowns or issues thus far👍🏻
Great video guys, lovely introduction to who you are, people will enjoy following your adventures xxx

Thanks Shannon!! That means so much to us! Hope all is well with your clan! Ollie is such a handsome little guy 🤗
I remember that scary sailing instructor too! Cool to hear the backstory - looking forward to seeing those sails up! Stay safe dudes!
Really enjoying your vids. Can’t wait to see her under sail.
