Press forward at the same time when ball or attack hits. Also you can parry low attacks pressing down. I know it's been three years but for some reason I decided to help

If you're talking about the yellow reward, it's a score based on how well you performed during that match.

You go to options, depends what you're playing on and what you're using to play the game.
