Chris Birch - Hard Adventure Riding in the UAE, it's not just sand!

- Before our #saynotoslow schools start in the United Amerate Emirates we have to learn the area and that means time to play! There is way more than just sand dunes in this country. The terrain is totally different to anything I'm used to so it took some time to figure it out. On a borrowed bike from KTM UAE I was desperate to not damage it!

Thank you Chris, those were 2 mega days. Privileged to have you as a coach. Beyond you supernatural skills, you are also a natural, kind, patient teacher. Hope to do this again in the near future. All the very best to you and family. Luca

If I was ever going to ride on the moon I guess it would look like that.
I rekon was thinking, the master finally made it mars!🤙✊
What interesting terrain. Mad skills! Thanks for sharing.
As the man said, “Way above my skill set”! I’d be honored if Chris would scratch my bike while riding it proper like that. Terrain looks a lot like Southern Arizona.
I swear this legend is on a damn hoverbike 🤯 😂
Thanks for posting this Chris. Really cool to see raw scouting footage and how you tackle rocks like that. Just seeing someone else doing it opens the mind. Won't cry so much next time I see three rocks on a trail. Well, I'll try not to. Got a heap out of your Vimeo series too. Rock on.
Nice one! I'm glad you like the video series
Such a great day riding and amazing to see your insane riding skills🤙🏼
Awesome riding Chris!...as usual!!...thanks!
Awesome! That’s what we are aiming for :)
im lucky guy too that i got ever thing to watch your video and found your channel....huge fan of you sir....
Great Stuff, thanks for the Upload❤
I love this sort of location; it reminds us that not everybody wants a holiday on a low budget.
I too would like to thank you for the inspiration. I'm a 57 year old man and love riding off road. Your technique And spirit give me the confidence to go have fun. And not believe that the motorcycle is to big as much as my ability to navigate the terrain and use what I've learned from u. Cheers CHRIS.
That's brilliant! Thanks for such a nice message
Can’t thank you enough for the effort you put into the training and the insights you shared with us over the weekend.
Truly, the best coaching I have ever experienced. Not only the knowledge you shared, but your style of delivering the information is exemplary. 🤝
Thanks so much!
Awesome Chris... 👌
Excellent, unbelievable riding skills. keep it up. BEST WISHES.
Reminds me of marocco - these countries have so much to offer for a good ride. My T7 did well there - I just returned with some broken ribs and a broken collarbone 😂 Can´t wait to return to Africa - so I really enjoyed this video.
I hope you recover fast!
THE LEGEND CHRIS BIRCH!!!!
Good job looks fun
Much appreciated Chris. I’ll gladly pay for a class with you the first chance I get here in the U.S.
To have someone of your caliber (better than every other human) give a lesson would help anyone improve their skills and stay safer. Hope I’m one those lucky people sooner than later.
Thanks again 🙏🏽
Be safe.
🏍💨
We will definitely be back in America next year.
Rough canyon…you made it look easy. Just got an 890 R and trying to figure it out for technical trails. Came off a small bike, but this girl is really big! One thing for sure I need to change out these tires, because well that rear just does not have it for off-road talking about the continental TKC!
Hi great material very nice ride ;)
Speechless wow
sir ur the master of offroad excellent😍😍😍😍😍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Damn, wish I knew you were here. A legendary Kiwi rider in town. Would have been awesome to meet you. (10 year resident here) Chur bro!
Heck yeah
Hi coach, you are very crazy, i apreciate your videos, you show the real capacity of riding bikes in a noy places, i love it. Regard ans say not to slow
Thanks so much!
I’m happy I’m not the only one making weird sounds when I’m riding 😂
This is what a legend do 👏.... Hope we can see you some day at Nepal also with big bikes...
One day I hope!
@@ChrisBirchNZ 😀We are excited to welcome you...
It scared me at 11:45 mark. Specially while watching it. It look so steep and slippery. I would have slipped out of fear if it was me.
Great one again❤️.
Come to India 🇮🇳. And put some brains into KTM so they bring better bike than 390 in here too. Just saying ✌️.
95 in the 790/890’s according to the manual mate 🤙🏼👊🏼✊🏼
I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS, YOU SHOULD PUT A CAMERA TO SEE HOW THE SUSPENSION WORKS. SALUDOS DESDE PERU!!
super lucky man
My dream bike
We could use some of that fuel discount here in the states as well.
And it's gone up to 90c!
Impressive riding. Looks sketchy!
I could play there for a long time.
NIce one Chris as usual, a question though, were you using mousses on that heavy beast?
No, stock tubeless in the rear and a HD tube in the front. The mousses don't like road work so are not a god option for adventure riding.
Hi Chris another epic ride! Were you on standard tubeless wider rims or PowerParts 1.85/2.5 inch narrow rims with Tube Tyres for this kind of terrain? TIA
Hi, this bike is totally stock. I do prefer the power parts wheels.
Looks like hard work haha
I'll be in Dubai for a few days next week and might have a day free, looking for options to go riding. Any suggestions who can rent a bike and-or provide a guided tour?
Chris, what do you use for your bashplate? I’m also curious to know your Rally Mode level for riding rocks. I’m on the 790R and use Level 7 with Karoo 3 tires. Your Say No to Slow series really helped!
Hi, Ive got the standard bash plate on this bike. I'll go to the KTM power parts one for my next bike.
I normally run it around 3 on this sort of riding.
When you have too much oil so you pour some on the floor lol
Pouring it on floor? alright. 😱😱😂😂
Seems like you're ready for the Mars exploring program)
Yeah, it couldn't be more different than back home in NZ
Hello .. From Indonesia an
Dear Chris, If it's not a secret, on this terrain, tire pressure is?
No secrets! It's very rocky with some big impacts on the more open trails so I ran 30psi in the front and 27psi in the rear.
...90cents a liter.....🤯🤑⛽ You could ship some home and it would still be cheaper!!!
Maybe I can take a Jerry can as carry on luggage?
1st comment 🏍️
I wanna see him on a gs
If you ride my bike, you can scratch the hall out of it.
Chris we need 3rd person view it will help Me lot
Ah yes, that requires a third person though 😂
@@ChrisBirchNZ or a drone maybe. 🤣
From which planet do you come from Chris ? 🤣
One much greener than this one ha ha
Mongrel terrains..
