Great rundown on your Viscount Seabreeze van. We too have an 1982 Grand Tourer 14' which is being evolving into the 21st Century 😆. We extended our Draw Bar by 1 metre, removed front bunks with a ensuite, (cassette toilet & separate shower). Flipped the axle to give more clearance, new 12v, 85L Upright Fridge, still with 170ah AGM, plus 120ah Lithium in separate Hard Korr Box. Various 12v power panels, TV, Original Oven, and Brown & Orange stripes 😂.
That was some funny as F stuff. Loved the parcel at the end, the shirt had me crying! Happy Aussie weekend crew, hope you are having a feed and brew. Loved the tour, gave me some ideas for my camper trailer, re lights etc. I'll have to hit you up for some ideas and suppliers of kit. The Wine glass holder was next level! Enjoy the summer, how good is it to be living in Aussie. Stay safe, have fun! 🦘😁👍🍻
Hey there Dave! Ha cheers mate👍👍, yeah thee ole girl is a foreva evolving rig! Yeah for sure mate, so far those lights have been epic! I did try and wire in a touch dimmer for them but the one I ordered didn't fit .. Yeah how good is the shirt! 🐟🤺 Happy Oz Day too mate 🍻🇦🇺 Thanks again Dave and chat soon!
You guys are an absolute inspiration. I love watching your videos and how Jed managed to rebuild a van into your home on wheels. I last commented under a different account, my 32 year old had breast cancer and took the kids and hubby east for a family 90th. I'm off next week.to the Caravan and camping show. My dream would be to be able to buy them a caravan. Lucky dreams don't cost anything. Keep travelling, stay safe and enjoy life.
Hey there Brian! Mate thanks so much for the kind words!! Much much appreciated from both Kel & I! Hopefully your daughter is going well also mate and on the mend, sounds like they are off on a decent adventure too! Yeah good thing is even with an old beat up van we all get the same view hey! Haha. Thanks again mate and chat soon! 👍
Awesome van tour guys. Great to see a complete rundown. I can imagine all the hours of work it would have taken to get it to where it is now. I’m glad you liked the shirts and hats. 🍻 🎣 👕.
Cheers Jed and Kelly.. Absolutely love the walk through ... Always loved your van... Totally agree Kelly... the t-shirt belongs ro you... Oldmate will figure this out when the hazza slaying comp is on.... Thanks legends... catch you next week.. and chat during the week....
Cheers Chef!! Yeah she's a good ole girl hey, holds together better than most of these new slap together ones! 😅 this is true! But maybe the Hezza's fear me and this is why they don't come close to me 🤔😄
Awesome walk through Guys, it's a neat livable van 👍👍👍 I'm a Weber Q bloke myself, done some bannger Tomahawks and heaps of awesome meals, i'll stick to this brand 👍👍👍 Keep the good shit coming 👍👍👍 Cheers Andy🍺🍺🍺
Hey there Andy, thanks mate! 👍 Yeah she's a good ole rig hey, does the job and some! Haha yeah I'm definitely converted Webber fella now 🫡, cooking spuds n chops on it alongside the Nullarbor as we speak! Cheers Andy and hope ya had a premo weekend 🍻
Hey Jack mate! Cheers mate, yeah she's a good rig hey. Haha multiple times looked into roof aircon, unfortunately though solar panel take up most of the roof space and weight. Would be a great addition though! 🙌
Love the setup, mate. We have the same jockey wheel on our van. We were told not to move the van around on it when fully extended. It can bend. Im not going to try it, 😅. Nice work. Safe travels 🍻 👌
@oldmate_adventures no mate. Hopefully, I'll book it in for next week. My wife and daughter are heading to Brisbane in 2 weeks. Need to get it done before then. Vintage is about to start at the end of the month, so it needs to be A1 for that. Don't need a breakdown before the 2am shift starts 🤣
@oldmate_adventures im not going to Brisbane mate. Because of vintage. I'll be doing shift work. Could be up to 14 hours shifts. Grape picking. I am an operator of the geape harvesters. No much more though thats why my back isn't as good as it used to be
Awesome Ep and look at you awesome set up van guys, A mode they do is fit a small computer fan in the 85 and 130lt fridges to blow air over the freezer area it stops them iceing up they say
Yes you can either come off the light in the fridge for power as 12volt , or on the compressor controller near the compressor it has a series of letters i think F is for fan if you use it the little computer fan you put inside the fridge only runs with the compressor does, Love your channel @@oldmate_adventures
Definitely a lot more moving parts and issues you have to get right like alignment etc on independent but for offroad they are just a whole other level above. Like everything though you have to set them up correctly.
@oldmate_adventures seen multiple with new full off road vans do off roading like the Gibb and still die... 😅 99% because they didn't air down or drive to the conditions seen many vans that have done it no issues. Still on the fence if its "needed"
@@oldmate_adventures just refreshing to see someone doing it in a way many could do... Sure some could sell the second car and house... but once your done you got no house nor full time job to start again.. Talked to many stuck in a van near retirement and zero options
Work of art that van…. Loved the wine glass holder 😂 👍
Haha cheers Ray! Yeah it does the job hey👍👍🥂🙌

@craigtomkinson2837 arrr mate this is epic! Modify Everything 🙌 haha, I will get onto this 👍
Is that suspension really worth it over full rocker roller 🤔 it was the off road standard for decades till independent

Yeah lots of crew think just coz they have "offroad" suspension they can just send it and all good. Haha
Great seeing a setup thats not 250k plus 😂
Cheers mate 👍, yeah it's pretty easy these days to punch well over the 100k for a Caravan hey!
