    The problem I see in this method is that round shaders saturate way more than magnums, so when you fill the corners with shader and the center with magnum, when it heals the shader part will stand out and the magnum part will fade away a little. Do you agree with me?

    Okay, BIG PROBLEM FOR ME, PLEASE HELP!: I'm not sure if this is just a problem with fake skins or if it would happen on real skin too (I'm too scared to try it). Here's the problem: I have the outlines done in black, and I want to color the area inside the outlines. When I use ANY color to go up to the lines (especially yellows), the needles pick up the black outline ink and mix with the yellow, and I end up with a dirty, nasty color. I've scoured the internet and I can't find any help on this issue. I love your videos and you explain everything so well. Please please PLEASE give me some advice on this.

    What is a good brand of fake skin to practice on especially for color? I bought some on amazon and it absolutely will not take color, the mags, even small ones will not penetrate the skin. Even doing line work the machine sometimes bogs down and stops on the skin.

  • @kaibsix
    @kaibsix 2 роки тому

    The first way you did actually works best and safer from going outside the lines… you just needed to angle the machine back rather than holding it so straight up and down as well as maybe a little more angle leaning into the line. To prove this… are you not able to shade a straight solid edge without a line? Say in a background or in a piece that has no major line work?

    • @ArtSomething
      @ArtSomething  2 роки тому +1

      I think it’s personal preference. I know plenty of people that don’t like their tattoo machines to be wrapped really thick. I like a larger wrap or medium amount of wrap as I feel help stabilize my hand allows for easier wrist movement. But to be honest lately I’ve been putting a little bit less on because I think there’s definitely a line in my opinion or too much is truly too much.
