Anyway, I'm a lore kinda guy that mostly doesn't skip dialogues. But the Aranara quest... Oh hell no am I reading that gibberish mate. I spammed my space and mouse click so hard lol.
Finishing the quest itself should get you about half of the region or more done I’d say it’s a whole lot better than the Aranara one

im so burned out from genshin this might be the last straw for me OO i barely made it to 1:05:52 and wanted to check how long this quest was, so i could finally do the freaking event. but seeing that i didnt even finish half of it ... knowing all genshin quest are quiet similar to this one (a ton of dialogue, way too many mechanics and actually being forced to finish them), i might just quit at this point ...

Haha, that's what happen to me too. I usually 100% the new region in 1-2 days at most when they were out, but now....i only completed this quest today, my advice, take it slowly mate, i stopped then continue a lot starting the sumeru desert region, n did the chain quest part per part. I rarely followed a guide apart on things i was stuck. It can be daunting to see some quest took hours on yt, also i find my self not obsessed with 100% exploration anymore, i find my fun back on playing the game because of that. Though i am criticizing this new trend on the event by mihoyo, they added so much unskippable chat line, it takes hours

I played it in a way I wouldnt burn out. Returned to the game for the .0 region updates (I did this for 2.0 and 3.0), played actively until the archon quests ended (2-3 updates) and then quit the game and just come back a few times for the more interesting events. And here I am again, 4.0 is coming soon and I have a bunch of these quests piled up so that I have things to do for the month. I guess that wouldnt work as well for a full free-to-play player but I did pull a lot back in the day so I have zero fear of missing out on reruns or whatnot. My Ganyu carries everything and I pulled for Cyno, don't need anybody else and never will because I don't give a shit about abyss and the extra 600 primogems (OMG missing out on a whole 3.75 pulls every 2 months 😱)

If the pieces of the puzzle that are used to direct energy refuse to move, try moving the green thingy (Farrwick) away from the energy source and then put it back and try moving the thing again.

@@SundayMatineee problem is that there isn't nearly as much dialogue in Chinese, It's a lot more direct because it's a monosyllabic language, It's a lot more condensed than English. The Chinese players are done with the quest before you even finish reading the first cutscene. It's not a Chinese developer's fault that English is a lot more bloated than Chinese is. They made this game in Chinese, so in Chinese they ARE doing better.

Whelp, I legit thought the Pari u can use it to jump to short distances/hard to reach areas. Knowing hoyo won't making it *that* easy for the players, instead they added another component for exploration, but cutting out the fun bit... Am I the only one thinking like this?

You can use a skip button to go straight to the quest, it’s on the event page. I didnt complete this quest before doing the event, so you don’t have to suffer through all of it if you haven’t finished. I believe you just click ‘quick start’ and ignore the lore warnings or whatever and you can do it then go back and do this if you want the backstory and lore 😊

Food buffs, bring a healer or make a LOT of healing food before starting…that’s what I did 😂 I also used the freeze reaction a lot which helped me concentrate on fighting one enemy at a time. Basically, just bring something or someone who can heal so you don’t die 🙂
