ok im kinda late to the party cuz i didn't have time to edit but still wanted to share the journey, so i hope you'll enjoy, thanks ❤️
How did your pulls go?
Just so you can know the context about my PAIN!!: Tried to pull Tartag on his 4th Banner since I already lost to him twice (Close to 90 Pity each). Lost again, nice now it's thrice (80ish Pity). Farmed for a day or two and finally managed to get him (Had to go all the way back to 80ish Pity).
I was super happy and content with all my characters so far. Only one was left- FURINAAAA!! So, I managed to save up enough before 4.3. Tried to get her (80ish pity) lost....Ahhhhh!! then came the Arc of Hell, I played Hours Day and Night for a whole week or more and then I finally pulled her 4 or 5 days before her banner EXPIRED.
Now having experienced all that and never wanting to experience that again I have decided to stop going for characters and start pulling for CONS / Weapon / At the very very.. least a C6 character. Currently its FURINA.

it does feel surreal to c6 a 5 star char being f2p and i absolutely LOVE her at c6. At first i was a bit confused on how it works because of long description but its actually very simple and she does so much dmg even with my mid artifacts. She feels so fun to use and you don't even need healer cuz her c6 can heal. She also made me enjoy the game the same as before and just for that it was very worth it for me!
But i cant say that it would be worth for you, its a damn long time without pulling while everyone else is having fun with new characters so it may actually affect you and you could lose the passion for the game cuz of that
Originally i was saving for Lyney & Lynette, as we've seen them since 1.0 in a story trailer. They seemed really cool in it and for a long time I was hoping mihoyo would do something interesting and make a double character, and rewatching that trailer was helping me not to crack and keep saving, also the longer i kept saving the more apathy i grew to the banners, so over time it became easier to skip, it also helped that i didn't like sumeru characters that much to spend my savings on them (besides Nahida cuz i'm collecting all archons, and i got lucky and got her in 40 pulls so it didn't rly hurt my savings).But then they didn't make a double character so i was a bit disappointed and didnt wanna spend all my primos on Lyney so i got him just once and was a bit lost on what to do with all the primos i had, until i fell in love with Furina and decided to dump them on her banner. So thats pretty much the story of me saving if i didn't forget anything.
I only pull for characters i like and idc how they perform, so thats my biggest tip: Don't get baited by all these youtubers that say "X is must pull" or "Pull for X or you'll regret" and smth like that. Just pull who you like, and if you feel that you like some character so much you wanna pull for them it's honestly fine, go for it. After all, the main point is to enjoy the game

I admire your dedication. I would never have the patience to save that much. Enjoy your furina she is gonna be insane at c6. And no need for healers anymore. Or her being a support
thank you❤she IS insane at c6, even with my mid artifacts she does 100k+ dmg with normal attacks and 240k+ if its vape. and tbh i was a bit burned out of genshin for some time, but now she made me enjoy the game the same as before, so it was totally worth it

As a f2p, I can confirm that the weapon banner was very scary . Fortunately, i got the right weapon . Also, I just pull for my favs like C1R1 or C0. I'll be getting constellations slowly in their reruns while saving for another character . Currently saving for perfume lady from Lyney and Lynette's voicelines
Its rigged the uid have an 8 so its rigged for you people need to open the eyes we are seeing how rigged is the gacha system for these people who have an 8 on their uid

Good call stopping while you were ahead. The weapon banner is predatory. You’d have to spend all 900 wishes to get 5 copies of a weapon guaranteed. On the bright side, even if you lose on the weapon banner you still get a pretty good weapon.
Ya I tend to only try for the weapon banner if I want both options available.
And while more copies of that weapon DOES make for a powerful weapon, it's just not remotely worth it... the higher refinement gives you a stronger stacking buff but it's conditional, it's not a stable passive. Other weapons, like the harp, the beacon, pjc, key of K, aqua sinulacra, these are STRONG passives that get notably more powerful with refinement.
But if I had money to burn I'd totally r5 that weapon! It's so good for her!

and once you saved up, you wanna do it again like preparing for your desired character - it’s also wholesome, the feeling when you have a save primos 60k+ plus (yes we can earn it from 2-3 patches/explo) then the character you’ve waiting for too long. the feeling is *chef kiss

Her c6 makes it so her buff doesn’t require a healer slot on her team at all. Absolutely broken since you can bring kazuha and shenhe back on freeze teams
Yes and no. Generally with C6 it’s better to just run sunfire Jean and let Furina do the damage. I don’t even think about focusing on buffing other characters anymore when Furina is casually doing 400k+ per hit.
@@NutellaCrepe running her as a support to let other characters shine can be just as fun too, I had the same mindset with c6 yelan until one shotting everything became boring.
As if Kazuha and Shenhe aren't being used on freeze teams already.
@@Sergmanny46 but with furina you’re forced to replace either one of those two for a healer. Her c6 replaces Mona and kokomi as a healer and buffer and sub dps.

Honestly I try to gain cons over the span of a couple banners so I just save a bit to get guaranteed and wait till the next banner
I admire the dedication. I am a fellow F2P on the C6 journey, currently having C5 R1 Yelan with a little over 200 wishes saved. Next up I’ll be going for C6 Furina too (currently c0), then finally a C2 Kazuha (currently c0) all just to make the most over kill Hu Tao team (currently C1 R1)
Im also a hardcore f2p gems saver. Sitting on 250 wishes and trying to go for c6 yelan, she is c3 now. And saved 2 years for C3R1 Raiden. Im soo happy you stopped wishing there. I respect it fellow dedicated f2p!
Another f2p on the c6 Yelan journey! I currently have her c5 r1 with about 200 saved. I also have C1R1 Hu Tao and I’ll probably go for c6 Furina next (currently c0). Real recognises real keep up the dedication!

@@minou2980 We’ve probably been playing a little longer than you and maybe luck, I have like 1k+ days active. Also update I got lucky and got 3 more Furinas in 180 pulls, then lost 50/50 at like 66 so now I’ve still got like 235ish and counting left over but I’m gonna go for key and my final Yelan first then maybe C6 Furina next time around.

Was saving since Nahida came out and also get her C6R1 with nearly the same amount of pulls as you did. R5 just isn't worth the price imo.

makes perfect sense, as spending all primo on weapon banners as a f2p is inefficient, as those constellations are more beneficial as a f2p player.

I went hard pity and lost every 50/50 and saved up like 7 months with welkin, by exploring and bought another 1980 gems to hit pity for guaranteed c2 btw. I love gacha :D

@@mszeed not mention there is a lower chance for going into hard pity that many times in a row than winning the lottery. It's practically impossible.

This inspires me to save but the thing is I literally can't even bare to save up a 10 pull. As soon as my primos reach 160 or above, they're going back to 0 instantly. I really want Furina because I love her lore, her design and her kit like I can't express how much I want her and I believe she is having a rerun with Siegwinne (hope I spelled that right).
If u wanna save, I'd recommend to stop playing for at least a month or 2, then come back and then start saving. I did it and I saved 50 wishes without having the urge to pull.
I just picked the game back up. I dropped in to grab Furina when her banner was out, now I'm grabbing all the materials for her, she's really fun. I had so many archon quests to do, even Nahida's stuff... Hydro = Tears from the quest that's for sure. Definitely need to save back up for future characters that's for sure.
ahh t this makes me feel better... ive been saving sinice furina release for columbina (currently at 168 wishes) annd im hoping ill end up with c6 r5! i might get a few welkins n stuff but hopefully itll be worth it!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! I'm saving for C6 Venti and R5 Skyward Harp rn. I have C0 and R2, but trying to get standard weapons is... kinda scary ngl. I'm going to be in weapon banner hell after getting C6 Venti lmao. I tried standard but I spent over 300 wishes and got a qiqi, a jean, and two skyward spines, so screw that.

I see a lot of these videos where people blow their entire accounts worth of gems on a c6 5 star.
While on paper this seems very good you do run into a few issues:
1. You'll have 1 hard carry
2. None of your 4 stars other then event banner will have constellations.
This can be problematic do you really want or need a c6 Collei?
Not really, so you basically traded competitive 4 star pulls for competitive 5 star pulls.
I could argue that c6 bodeou which is the thing every ftp account has is your best 4 star.
I understand your playstyle; I've been playing since day one, every day. Currently, I have 2 c6 (Kamisato siblings), Diluc (C5), Qiqi and Raiden (C4 each), along with several at C2. My goal is to reach C6 with Raiden and eventually obtain another C6 in the future. I exclusively pursue C6 constellations in this game; I prioritize investing in characters I like the most while minimizing resource expenditure. All of this is achieved solely with the blessing of the moon (not f2p but i dont think 5 dollars per month is expensive).

I too have skipped every banner since 2.0 but because I abandoned the game for 2 years and my heart was BROKEN just a few weeks ago when furina's banner ended and i couldn't manage to even get her :')
r5 on any 5* weapon is not worth it tbh, i admire the dedication as a furina lover though i just think that you could’ve gotten so much more with the 300+ pulls left and you totally did the right thing

Did the same for less than a year, finally broke for Chiori ( decided to go geo only for the lolz on this account), I got her and her weapon. Now i still have like 47000~ primos and 60~ Intertwined Fates.
You see, at those banner at the time it always started with collei on me. Accidentally got C1 plus tighnari n jean in 10 pull. Gladly I still have my luck on recent banner-xianyun n standard got tighnari too.

Furina Was the only 5 stars i really want... I manage to save for some months and thanks to Hu Tao for spending a lot of primo for her without getting her, I got my Furina c2 with her weapon I'm so happy to have her ! And she's sooooo easy to build ! Her and Laney was so much joy to build! She's triples crowned and my Jean I have since the first time is only 70 bc her build is so ugh

You need 1260 wishes to get a C6 5 star including every 50/50 lost and reaching 90 pity every time

I got Furina luckily only in 10 pulls 😍,and literally she is one of the best character ever she help me to reach adventure level 40 from 15 in just 20 days ,, even I defeat raiden shogun in first attempt😍😍,, she is such a best character

if you think about it thats 6-8 5 star characters and their weapons at c0 (unless you're SUPER LUCKY)

90×12=1080 pulls for a C6
80×10=800 pulls for an R5
1880 in total.

I did this too. Skipped every one since C3 Raiden. But I had welkin and I did get C6 furina and R1 weapon because I went to fate on it. I rather wait for a better banner lol

I think if you have c6 furina r1 weapon would be enough and save for other characters
Congrats on getting c6 Furina! I’m honestly confused on who to pull for, bc I could go for c1 raiden, or her weapon, kazuha, or save for furina’s rerun, wait for navias rerun or I could just save for 2 years like you did and pull for when I really want a character
Yesterday i've spent ~250 pulls and got my Furina from c1 to c3. And thats all progress. Kinda sad
I saved hundreds of pulls for some five star characters other than Diluc and ended up getting a C4 Diluc😢
As a f2p i admire your dedication and glad you didn't use up all your primo on that sh*ty weapon banner
btw for example if your at 50 pity or something and you do a 10 pull and it turns gold you do not count it 60, you’ve been doing it wrong you satay at 50 and you count until you get that 5 star
When you got R1 on the first pull I was chanting STOP. STOP IT NOW. IT'S NOT WORTH IT TO GO ANY FURTHER! Good you didn't spend it all there.
