My mom was a machinist at Eaton Hydraulics (they bought out the Hutchinson, KS Cessna facility) she was there for a total of 25 years. Ran a CNC Lathe is the one thing I can remember.
That looks like a good ole time Cole! I like that mower. Good job taking down the overgrowth! Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan together. I had forgot about that. Happy Brian and Tami are having a good time together. It’s good to get away for a while. It sorta resets the being in us. Thanks for farming to feed people and for sharing. Storla Station
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting and enjoyable. I really like your new brush cutter your got from Diamond Mowers. It works just super. It works great. The areas you cleaned up with that look so much better. The farmstead always looks good with a clean mowing. Good job Cole!!!!!! Glad your mom and dad are enjoying their vacation. Assume they are in Nashville. Great place to visit. Johnny Cash museum is a good one. Brian, good song of the day considering where you are. Brian and Tammy enjoy your visit to Nashville. Cole thanks for showing us the diamond mower. Good piece of equipment. Enjoy your visit to Storla Station. About it for now. You take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Diamond mowers used to have a plant here in Oklahoma. They closed it down and I was worried it went over the border but I'm glad to see that they're still here in the US
Hey Cole! I'm happy that flying solo while Brian is away is going well for you. The diamond mower is a good machine and being front mounted is always better...that's what she said anyway. I cringed for a second when you tilted it right up to tackle the tree, thinking ooooo the power shaft....then I realised lol. I spotted Fed-ex getting a free plug out of you there, cheeky. You could also pop along to the hay fields with the mower and take care of the Jeffy bits that got missed. Stay safe buddy.
That thing does a fine job! Something so satisfying about cutting in front rather than a tow behind Bush Hog! Glad y’all have great partners like Diamond!
Good to see Brian and Tammy having a good break and thanks for still thinking of song of the day while you’re away. Good to see you being responsible Cole, you’re dad can be proud how you’re looking after the farm and enjoy his time knowing it’s safe in your hands. I’m sure the fun jokey Cole will be back when they’re back although I do like your serious side too xx
Cole great piece of machinery to have for mowing driveways so they are easy getting in and out of the fields during harvest.. Great to hear song of the day long distance Brian, hope your having a great time on your vacation.
Awesome to see Brian and Tammy having a good time in Nashville!! The little lady and I were there earlier this summer - great time with tons of live music and good food. That Diamond Brush Cutter Pro is pretty nice for getting into the nooks and crannies on your farm, thanks for sharing.
awesome reclaimer! would love one of those at my little place in Maine. get rid of knotgrass, dog roses, and blackberry canes that are taking over my lower paddock. thanks for showing it.
@@beckyumphrey2626 yes, he’s breeding for baldies. (Black baldies and white face’s). I was commenting on the quantity of heifers and how good a job Brian, Jeff, and Cole do in conditioning their cattle… no matter what color they are. I’m wondering what they could do with Limousine/Shorthorn’s.
Those double decker grasshoppers brings back another memory. I was about 12 years old and I was riding a machine that was making sheaves. I would dump a number of sheaves in a spot so they could be "stooked". (This was done to the oats planted only in the sloughs or low lying areas that could not be planted with wheat.) My uncle Mick was driving the tractor. He yelled, "Look at all those grasshoppers making more grasshoppers." 😊 Yes, also recall the hymn, "Bringing in the Sheaves". That was for Brian. 🎶
I used to sing “bringing in the sheaves” when I was at primary school so 35ish years ago and I live all the way over in England 🏴 amazing how songs like that are global when you think they’re just sang at your school! My other favourite song from school is cauliflowers fluffy 👍🏻
@@kelly-annejenner486 Mr. Bean sang “bringing in the sheaves” in one episode. Most people on this side of the Atlantic Ocean never heard of Mr. Bean. 😮

I really enjoy you and your Dad & Jeff working around the farm. My parents grew up working on a farm in Saskatchewan. I feel it relaxing watching what you do. I do like Ellie. Keep up the good work you do on Sonne Farms. Oh I live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
Enjoyed watching the cleanup. Much better than the silo repair which, as a mom, gave me great stress. 🥺🤭 but I'm wondering if you will do brush cleanup like that once a year? I really enjoy the videos
That's one nice looking piece of equipment, love to have one, and oh, the skid loader too. Liked how it cleaned the weeds, looks a lot better that's for sure. Thanks for the video, hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend.
Nice clean up Cole. You got some grins too. I once did some brush hogging with a brush hog on the three point of a Ford 9N. I had been clearing some growth that included some trees up to about three inch diameter. I was in just weeds and grasses when suddenly it made a horrible bang, started vibrating the whole machine and I saw one of the blades sailing out across the field like an errant boomerang. I clutched the PTO and got it all stopped. One of the blades had broken at the mounting hole. The blade was one inch thick, four inches wide, and twenty four inches in length. Only damage done was the loss of the blade and my underwear when it broke loose. Had to buy a humongous socket to get the nut off too. Had a whole new respect for that thing after that too. It was an ant hill that took it out.
Those cows are thinking just let us out and we’ll mow down that and mom’s lawn and flowers for you.
Thanks for phoning in the Song of the Day Brian, hope you have a great trip !
If a dog's eating grass, it means they have an upset stomach. Ellie has a boo boo belly! Nice clean up!
I Love your vídeos. Watch twice, just to see Ellie, twice+ lol

Cole.that thing is pretty awesome! Y’all need that in your life
That Diamond Cutter needs to make "om nom nom" sounds. Wouldn't mind having it pass over my overgrown little garden here.
The right machine for that job! Looks like it makes mowing those huge weeds almost fun. You should let people come and take turns running that thing!
Also from Ohio and my son asked if we could go to south Dakota lol 😆 he enjoyed 😉 your videos thanks 😊 for making them prayers 🙏 ❤️ 💙 from Ohio
Thanks for the Brian update.
Cole
Your Brush cutter will keep your pig weeds and brush at bay. Your cutter has a full time job Best hire a young buck.Best of Luck

I drove through Mitchell on the way to Mt Rushmore. Wish I could a stopped and said hi!
you know Cole after living in the suburbs all my life and priming the lawn I wondered if you guys cared about those weeds good going.
