Kevin's great and did a great job on my boat. Repaired some damage from dingy rubbing the bow too.

Go for it! You won't regret it. Saves a ton of time in cleaning and the boat looks sharp!

Right at about 11:30 you mention a window treatment that I can't quite understand. The CC calls it Hydra Sim but I can't find that. Can you tell me what exactly you said? Thanks

The ceramic coat applied to the hull is an alcohol based solution. The hydraserum after-care is a water-based ceramic coating. The hydraserum acts as a sacrificial layer to help the ceramic coating not wear off as fast (wear off the hydraserum first). I go over Channel Surfing twice a year with the hydraserum to hopefully prolong how long my ceramic coating lasts. For the windows (and stainless steel rails), they are coated with the hydraserum. However, glass and stainless is not very pourus so it lasts about a month. two coats of Hydraserum on the windows works better than Rain-X. In this video, timestamp 08:00 you can see how well the Hydraserium works on the windows. Unfortunately, we also midjudged weather in Johnstone Strait and were punished severely for it. With all the water we took over the boat, Johnstone wore off the Hydraserum in a little over an hour of abuse. Under normal boating conditions it lasts about a month on the windows so I don't have to use windshield wipers. ua-cam.com/video/ThcKLiyTwMY/v-deo.html

Have you ever considered Hull Shield to keep your hull clean of barnacles?

I've never had a barnacle on Channel Surfing. I've seen a few on Lemondrop whenI changed out her anodes last year. A few were on the engine transom, but not many.
