I was told in Darmstadt Germany in 1988 from old Germans who were children after WW I about them hyperinflation of their Weimar government and how they needed stacks of cash just to buy a cabbage, a basket of eggs, cheese, bread and otter food staples. One man had a paper route on which he would carry a large wicker basket on his deliveries for all the cash he would collect to be turned in. Everyone including his father would bring in their cash together at his house on Friday the his mom would shop for food immediately before the prices rose more on Saturday. Folks it’s not a stretch to think it could happen year too

At least the German beers and wine are much better than American piss water. They have a niche that Americans want to emulate and its talent and industrial efficiency. I asked a Bundeswehr Panzer tank crew to swap rations and it was totally Michelin quality food (goose pate and brochen in white wine). They have a brain washed mentality that its mandatory to be "The Good Germans".

@@royalpitamamma yes they said they would use older silver or gold coins (marks) to buy instead of the bundles of cash. The merchants would actually hide the better cabbage, Frits and other items in the back of the store for gold, silver or other tangible barber items. They would also go out to the country on trains, horse carts or long walks and trade silverware, tools, and even luxury items like furs, jewelry, crystal ware, chandeliers and pianos to trade for sacks of potatoes, beets , slabs of beef, chickens and hams. Much if it was actually illegal but when you’re starving even most polizei (police) and train conductors looked the other way or were bribed with food or silver too. It’s not just precious metals it’s barter items. These issues weren’t cured until 1934 1 year after the Nazis came to power with soup lines and industrial work for German Rearmament for WWII. Unemployment went away quickly.

@@tomcat6735 many if their foods such as beer have strict manufacturing processes and laws as well as other European countries. The German beer laws called “Rheinheitsgebot” limit exactly what goes into their beers especially grains and is far more natural than American beers. Their hot mess hall foods and MRES equivalents are also more natural tasting and packaged. No “beef crumbles” but real shredded beef in their MRES. The French army had the best tasting food of all the armies I’ve ever eaten. Russian MRES are quite nutritious and robust too.

Matt , you are bang on correct here . This may be your best and most informative video yet . Hyperinflation is a given if the US continues to print as they are currently doing . Please research what happens to their stock markets as these countries went into hyperinflation , they don’t go down as most would expect , they go parabolic ⬆️ . Excellent video , hope it wakes people up.

Argentina is making a comeback. Their inflation is actually improving even if it is slow. At least the government there has stopped digging the hole with uncontrolled spending. It is expected that inflation will get worse for a while before it gets better, but it WILL get better if they stick with the program and avoid borrowing any money from the IMF. As bad as things are there they're on the right path...which is exactly the opposite direction from the USA.

George Gammon was just in Argentina and he was bashing gold on CP last night. He claims gold and silver aren’t money and also he said nobody in Argentina wants gold or silver, they all want the dollar or pesos. I think he’s spinning a anti gold and silver narrative for some reason? Either way, his interview was pretty much just him bashing gold so I’m thinking he’s got an agenda back to some of his banking buddies. Canadian prepper asked him if gold is so worthless, why is it going up and why is China and Russia and almost every central bank in the world buying it? This question flustered him, lol, he looked like a clown. Maybe he’s in bed with Dave Ramsey the other gold and silver hater? Lol.

I was 13 and I remember the LA riots from the year prior. I too hated Clinton. I wanted Ross Perot. In school I was invested in Hubba Bubba during our math class "stock market" game. I played flight simulators every second I could when I wasn't doing math or coding the computers. It was a good time to be alive. So much hope and promise. I went on to learn 3 more computer languages only to do nothing with them.

The middle class is losing with inflation. But why isn’t something being done. When you mentioned last nite about when you make $196,000 per month to be doing well in Tennessee.
