    Nice, are you visiting there now? Funny how the colors look brownish, except for the green and blue. I guess it’s the gold that darkened. I do a “bysantian” style piece for my air club and the glass/ceramic are so close by and uneven that I wonder how well the cleaning of the grout will go. They shine and sparkle of the slightest angle change though 😀

      I was there in the beginning of October and yes, I have always wondered why the colours look that way. Is it that the gold has darkened or is it a different material? Surely not silver....? I'm glad you managed to reproduce the shine and sparkle in your mosaic. That's the key!
