International Older Persons Day celebrates the Traveling TikTok Grannies

Here is the video that celebrates Dr. Sandy Hazelip and Ellie Hamby, who traveled Around the World in 80 Days at age 81 a year ago.
They spoke at the TCU College of Nursing earlier this month to help students realize that AGE IS JUST A NUMBER.
They traveled to all seven continents and visited such wonders as the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Pyramids of Egypt, the Roman Colosseum, and the North Pole.
This special message that “Age Is Just a Number” is presented by the James L. West Center for Dementia Care in Fort Worth. The West Center’s CEO, Dr. Cheryl Harding, teaches this class, An Intro Into Aging, at the TCU School of Nursing, where the TikTok Traveling Grannies spoke on September 18.
Through the hassles of travel they learned that a SMILE is the most important possession to have!
