I read the Bible, memorize verses and attend Bible study classes. My faith in Jesus is strong and keeps me moving. I walk my dog for at least 45 minutes every day and often times we have another dog with us. I practice yoga twice a week and do strength training with free weights three times a week to keep my muscles strong. Whew! I'm tired now just describing it! I'll soon be 74. Psalms 90:10 [10]The days of our years are threescore years and ten; (70)and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years,(80) yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

She was thin and was widow by 40! Never married again. Her hobbies were painting, music and gardening. Always very clear in her head. Genes are important too.
Very true, genes are All that counts . Because what is good for one person is bad for another. Our genes determine what is good to eat and what not to eat.
Great video with very valuable information :-) I will be 74 soon so this was just the reminder I needed to realize that there are still many things I can choose to pursue and enjoy. Thank You!
A Good piece of advice to any age group why because even a few youngsters do live alone in their big houses. Living alone in a big house in a lonely place is also dangerous. At times ideas may not help do good in the hours of need without fellowmen. Probabilities hover over us to get well sooner while loneliness draws back for further deficiencies. Under the environment, old age life becomes lethargic & monotonous & never be understood by pedestrians or whatsoever whether or not the person is living-in.

Try to stay active every day . Some days though scratching hss to suffice.

Think of Every good deed is rewarded with great rewards by The Almighty God ... later or in the afterlife. Keep doing good for the people you love because they need you and God knows you are strong and the right person for them. Nothing is wasted in life. you are a great person. Set aside a little time to enjoy your own life to make life easier..

Engaging in a business will satisfy those points made. That point about having a purpose, something to look forward to each day is right on.
❤️🥰
Stay active eat healthy avoid excessive weight greatly helps a person continue to live in their own home. Keep up the mental alertness.

Just live life as it comes. What will be will be, so go with the flow. I'm 88
🥰
I have a dog and I make her dog food as well as my own (all clean and natural foods for both of us). I go to church every Sunday for the community aspect as much as the sermon.
Use it or lose it - that's what Jesus always says! All the Praise goes to Him!

Psalms 90:10
[10]The days of our years are threescore years and ten; (70)and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years,(80) yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

I am approaching 78 and still working full-time as a military archivist.
God Bless You 🥰🫡
For Example, I’m 81, married 50 years, golf twice a week including once a week with my wife and sometimes with my adult grandsons. I maintain a large landscaped yard and fascinated by many different topics including ancient history and modern science Still, I sometimes think “is living longer a reward or a punishment”? I like to see the humor in everything even the aging process.
❤️
Oh!, thanks for this video. I'm 73 and I am already worrying thinking my last days are coming in not a far future. So this have motivated me to forget about depression and start doing practical things that make my life more enjoyable as described in this video. Thanks very much.
@@vanglez765 I’m an old retired scientist (octogenarian). A fellow scientist (David Sinclair) at Harvard discovered why we age and why we don’t have too while he was at MIT in early 1990s. Look him up on UA-cam. He tells you what his protocol is. I do the same. His dad is also a scientist and does the same. My 105yo father in law is still getting around on his own. Look into it. His research is now focusing on humans healthy longevity. Serendipitously, he discovered how to reverse the aging process. It’s working for me! My father in law stopped playing tennis at 92yo. He’s thinking he may start again!
Thank You ❤️
Aged seventy-five I studied online with the OU and gained my BAhons followed by my Masters, in English literature and language. Although hard work, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I walked my two labradors at least two miles each day.
However now aged eighty-six, and having lost my dogs, I am suffering from a dodgy knee ect. I am struggling to retain my purposeful life at the moment, sometimes giving in to depression at the loss of my beloved dogs.
I am an avid reader and write, keep my sense of humour and eat well, so not too bad really.
Still wearing the latest trainers and what my daughter refers to as my war paint (make up), still drive a car and drive everyone mad with my hypochondria!
Haven't seen a doctor for forty years, because of fear.😮😮😅😅
Thank you for the video. When you know better you do better.
Long healthy life to all.
❤️
I am 75, i am maintaing my daily activities to some extent as you explained. It is not question of long life but for happy living one must follow you. Thank you for your nice msg.

At 74 I ride a bike around 20mi. Weekly , because it’s important to keep ur heart pumping good blood circulation, also many at home projects helps 😊
God Bless You 🥰
My mother lived 96 years. She never went for a long walk, she ate healthily but red meat and pastries. Lots of honey. He watched television many hours a day and always took a nap. She was thin and was widow by 40! Never married again. Her hobbies were painting, music and gardening. Always very clear in her head. Genes are important too.
Very true, genes are All that counts . Because what is good for one person is bad for another. Our genes determine what is good to eat and what not to eat.
I'm 90, put it down to pills but I take, my father and grandfather both died of heart attack at 82, they took no medication.
❤️
My father, grandfather and great grandfather all died aged 82. I have 2 brothers and we wonder which one of us will carry on the family tradition.
I agree 100 percent, keep active.😊😊
Thank You 🥰
I can drive and fly the plane and I am self sufficient.
Great video with very valuable information :-) I will be 74 soon so this was just the reminder I needed to realize that there are still many things I can choose to pursue and enjoy. Thank You!

A very useful and educative suggestion for senior citizens aged above 70years

I’m 70 and a widower and I hope I don’t live a whole lot longer. I’m sad and lonely without my spouse.

I enjoyed your talking topic of aging wisdom.
Thank You 🥰
Listening to AI voices on videos takes 1 year of life for every hour you listen!
AI voices cause me to click out.
The 7 points I will continue to work on them and encourage others in my space to do the same .

❤️
Totally agree👍🏻
Thank You 💕
I agree 💯. I'm still working at age 70. Love keeping busy

Hi, what do you take Ivermectin for, how often and do you take the dosis according to your weight?
My sweet granny lived to 100 until she caught Covid. She lived by a large lake, didn’t eat processed foods, read books, stayed active and involved with friends and family. She has 0 percent dementia or hearing loss

This is one of best lectures l have read or listened to. It reminds me of one of the essays of Bertrand Russell's on old age . 👍
Thank You Sir 💕

What about those of us who had paralytic polio in early childhood ? With lots of orthopedic surgeries I can still walk a bit but having few nerves left below the neck means that a little exercise takes maximum energy levels. Have always followed the clean diet healthy living regimens but at 78 it is getting more challenging. Still do evrrything gir myself but gardening and taking out the garbage. Try to stay active every day . Some days though scratching hss to suffice.
Nice info. It really guides to those who are above 70.
Thank You 🥰

I think heredity has something to do with it. And money, rich people live longer.
I agree with the first sentence but totally disagree with the second.
Oh, I hope so, as I am very rich !!
Rich people live longer?? Tell that to the centenarians that live in the Blue Zones, which are largely composed of people with little wealth. Subsistence farming in the Blue Zones plays a large role to a long life.
@@derekofive9676Good luck to you. Just remember you can’t take all your riches with you!😉
I'm 75. Even though I have degenerative disc disease, my spine is destroying as well as my neck. I live alone and can't drive, I have a happy outlook and will get visitors from family and friends when I can. My mind is Sharp thinking l am young

I believe I can relate 90% of the 6 signs. What was not mentioned is a strong relationship with a HIGHER BEING, that's GOD. I wonder why only men's stories are mentioned, there are also women like me who can relate as well. I'll 84 in two months. Alleluia !
❤
Very GOOD advices!!!!!!!! Thanks I am in that PATH!!!!!! Enjoying it as much as I can and may?!!??
You can do it!
I Rembert the story of chap had small little pig and he picked it up every day and pig got heaver he got stronger I've been doing the work that I do now since I was 17 if it wasn't for my knees I'd still be the bees knees we will talk again
It's down to luck and genetics and our style of life, opportunity too, to help us live longer. Poorer people do seem to die younger, but there are exemtions.
❤️🥰
