As for the battery, on my 05 Yukon xl Denali it only comes with one battery but the Sierra 2500 had a second battery option and what I did was just purchase the OEM parts and now my Yukon has two batteries using all OEM parts, although, for the snorkel I wouldn't do it because keep in mind you will also have to get all the electronics on the truck sealed and waterproofed for it to be effective, otherwise, if you just get a snorkel and expect to drive through some river, you will be looking at flood damage to the electronics and could shut the truck off on you, then, your literally screwed at that point.

My thoughts on a snorkel is to treat it as a raised air intake for dust. Adding one is on my list and the AEV is what I’m looking at. I believe the AEV comes with a new air box

Yeah I mentioned this in the video. But if the front intake is still there, it's still going to take in dust. So are you going to remove that and just leave the snorkel? Is it going to be enough air? That's what I'm wondering.

There is actually a video i saw recent on here of someone with a 2021 with. 6.7 Cummins relocating their battery with a kit because they were installing compound turbos. I believe the kit relocated the battery on the frame under the vehicle. Im going to look for it now and tag you in it

I thought about mounting brackets to the frame of the truck under the side doors for my 4 - 6 volt batteries.

90 percent of people that install a snorkel use them for bad dust situations. There is less than half the dust up high. I don't do any serious off roading and I would never buy a snorkel.

I mentioned dust in the video. The problem is the front intake is still there, which means you're not stopping the dust from coming in. If you remove that part of the intake, you're cutting the air down a lot. So it doesn't make much sense to me, dust or water. Still going to hurt the engine.
