Yes, my husband worked so hard for our family for years at a job he didn't love. He is now retired and loving it. Lol
I cook Italian recipes most often. I’m not Italian, my elementary school St. Edwards had all Italian cooks in the cafeteria. I grew up on spaghetti, homemade cafeteria pizza, lasagna, minestrone soup, lemon capellini capers salad & garlic bread .
As a special
educator and mom of a 29 year old daughter with special needs, I love to see how well Joe does with reading! I would also suggest supplementing his curriculum with environmental print. Menus, signs, filling out basic forms etc. Think anything to help him be as independent as possible. Not sure what your future plans for him are, but would be a great direction at his age! You guys are doing a great job ❤

I’m so glad he has his special books just for him. I kno that’s hard for him but it’s also great that you can print them off - it’s got to be cheaper that way ❤❤
Hi Jennifer! I got my cookbooks a couple of days ago and I am beyond thrilled! I’m like you in that I read mine like a novel. I collect cookbooks but it’s been a while since I let myself get any. I was waiting until I could order yours. I think I’m most excited about the cranberry recipes. We love them. I make a lot of meatloaves with baked beans and either scalloped potatoes or Mac and cheese. Everyone loves it. That or chicken and rice.

When I would ask my husband what he wanted for dinner, it was always one of three thing. Either steak, seafood, or Chinese. If I ask my son, he usually says either Pad Thai or I'm easy. Lol
When you said you were trying to get Warren to do up his menu, I think we ALL knew chili was going to be on the menu. LOL

Have to say I very much enjoyed this video, Jennifer. Warren's meal plan, the review of Joe's books and then the ride you took with Warren. Love how you and he make an effort to just be together. I think, Jennifer, the relationship you and Warren have is a couples goal. And I say this as someone who will celebrate her 50th (wow, yes?) anniversary in July. Continued blessings to all of you.

I am enjoying your family meal plans. Our family always wants tacos or homemade pizza. I love chicken and dumplings, casseroles but my family is so picky about casserole ingredients. I grew up on them. Mom with her condensed soups in the day and we thought tv dinners a big treat. Lol. Food changes as generations change.
My favorite TV dinners were frank n beans with fried apples. Actually I loved all of them.❤
It was the Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, corn and brownie. I can smell it as a write this.
My daddy came home every day for lunch. I remember fixing him tv dinners or he loved Campbell's bean and bacon soup. I'm 65.
That cranberry zucchini bread looked amazing! I'm not a fan of the overwhelming power of nutmeg, but I would definitely give that a try. I love anything with cranberries, lol, so I could look past nutmeg! I use those types of proofing baskets and recently got a couple of silicone ones, but I still prefer the wooden ones. Brown rice flour will be your friend to keep things from sticking!
With nutmeg you can always leave it out or just add a pinch so it's not overpowering because it can be sometimes. I'll have to get some brown rice flour because I keep seeing it being used with good results.
Yes...family coming up with meal ideas gives my brain a break!! Usually less complaints too! ❤😊

Jennifer, I love your cookbooks and use them so often! My husband almost never makes a meal request and if asked he always says 'steak and lobster'. haha I love casseroles but he's more of a meat guy. Chicken thighs and potatoes in the crock pot today. Looking forward to seeing what else Warren put on his meal plan. It has been fun to see your family's choices. You found some cute clothes, Amazon has such a great variety of choices for clothes.
🎉🎉 I always love soup! I just made Amber's creamy potato soup last night and was thrilled to have it for leftovers today. My husband would probably only ask for tacos or grilled steak, or chicken wings. So whenever I ask him he always says whatever I would like is perfectly fine with him. His Momma taught him so well. However he grew up on casseroles and barbecues, and yes we call them Barbecues in Minnesota as well. I actually made them for lunch one day and he was super surprised because it's absolutely nothing I want but it just seemed easy. Let's be honest, I likely watched you make them and gave it a go. Seasoned Ground beef, plenty of diced onion, 🍅 soup, a good squirt 😂 of mustard, a tbsp of brown sugar and dash of Worcester sauce. Nothing fancy. My grandma's recipe. Delicious! Thanks for sharing another video, we all love your content. I hope Warren is ready for some rest after harvest soon. Take care!
I have been making a lot of soup recently. It is starting to get chilly here in East Tennessee. My husband is a gem, he will eat anything I cook for him and also loves leftovers. Lol. He is retired so every day at lunch he opens the fridge and says, what do I need to eat for lunch.
@@donnastratton8397 mine eats leftovers for lunch any chance he gets too. I think he loves that it's simple to warm up.

We're big goulash fans here! And also pork chops with sides I feel like I make atleast 2 times a week. I love my air fryer.
Homemade noodles for me. Chicken & noodles, beef & noodles, pork & noodles. My oldest always wants goulash. My husband fried chicken, which I dont make often anymore.
Corn chowder, meatloaf, cornflake chicken, shepherd pie, chicken fried steak.

I do make chili frequently too, as it's also my husband's favorite meal. He loves "my chili". I can get it on the stove in less than 10 minutes because it's a simple dump and go recipe. I have always used ground turkey in most dishes calling for ground beef. With the seasonings it pretty much tastes the same. My regional grocery store, Ingles, runs a good brand of 85/15 turkey on sale frequently, most recently for $2.44 a pound. I buy about 6 pounds every time they do. I usually go ahead and brown it and stick it in my deep freeze in vacuum sealed bags for quick meals. I do a few bags with the chili seasoning already added. Quick chili and happy hubby!!😅
My son always says butter fried chicken with peppers and rice. And I love it too.

Hi Jennifer. Loved the camo pants-thought it would look good with the green shirt you showed (the white sweatshirt will also look good). I knew Warren would want chili and I think hug and kiss soup would also be one of his favs. I make chicken piccata and homemade meatballs/homemade spaghetti sauce quite often. Hugs.
I've never made chicken piccata I don't think, unless that's like the butter chicken with a strong curry flavor. I'll have to look it up.
Pasta and homemade meatballs and Italian sausage. That’s my husband’s favorite request.
Seems like Taco related meals are highly requested here! Hubby is a meat and taters kind of guy and I am more salads and veggies and casseroles!

Our regular, go to meals are spaghetti, ground beef stroganoff, chicken vegetable soup, ham/cheese/veggie quiche and crockpot beef roast. After typing that, now I’m hungry! 😊

I wore white pants and shorts …nursing…to work every day and found the best way was to wear underpants the same color as my skin which is beige.
Years ago a guy I worked with who was African American told me …I had shorts on…to my knee…that I was by far the whitest white woman that he had ever seen. I could get away with wearing white underpants.
I make mushroom stew with looseitalian sausage just about every 10 days.
Let me guess…..just rotate chili and hug and kiss soup. Boom done

My family loves potato soup. My recipe is more of a stoup. It has bite sized potatoes but thick and creamy.

Have you ever tried mississippi pot roast very simple roast with 1 packet brown gravy 1 packet ranch seasoning all put on top of meat stick of butter on top peprocci prob not correct spelling they are in a jar i use about 4 or5 little juice in crock pot for 4to 6 hrs depends on size of roast also we eat alot of salsa meat loaf yes salsa

Returns are SO easy! You can return to kohl’s or Whole Foods. You don’t even need the box. It takes less than 30 seconds.

I take mine to UPS. Also very quick.
@@TeresaRaab-hb5co I'm rural as well. Usually drop at UPS store when I go to town for errands. Otherwise you can *pay*, sometimes at least, for UPS to pick up. ❤
If you have a UPS Store it's easy peasy. Show a QR code and they package it and print the label. I don't have one of those anymore so I print the label, package my stuff up in the bag it originally came in with lots of packing tape and take it to my local shipping store that does UPS, FedEx, etc.

The ads running on your channel are for pro-abortion which means you are supporting abortion.
I don't think they get any say in what ads run, but I think they should have some control over this.
I have noticed most controversial ads on more conservative channels are for very liberal candidates or causes. I click then off every time if I can. It's like the channels are targeted.
I just finished watching the video and there wasn’t an ad for pro abortion so I think UA-cam runs different ones each time it’s viewed.
No it does not mean that! You Tube channels don't have a say in what ads are shown. You can choose which ads you watch though, to an extent. Click on the "!more info" button at the side of an ad and a message comes up that says, stop seeing this ad. Click on that and it let's UA-cam know you don't want to see that ad. It may take doing it several times. I did recently for a stupid Target ad that shows all the time.
