    *Bought a 500 for an ultralight rod. It's very smooth **enjoyable.fishing** recommend casts great. One odd thing- the bale wire is a bit heavy diameter in my opinion for a reel of this size. But a great purchase.*

    So that's why it came early in Malaysia because the reel itself made in Malaysia...

    What do you think about this reel compared to the daiwa tatula? Which is better?

    • @TheSisavath
      @TheSisavath  5 років тому +1

      Jedhaase the Tatula LT is a lighter reel however in my opinion this reel is a bit better. If weight is an issue for you I would go with the Tatula if not this reel is stellar if you can get it for around $180

      Volkan KüçüK silent drive just means that they refine all moving parts to make everything move. Together smoothly at the micron level. Another words they just added that as a feather to make it a long list lol

    The fk does not have AR switch. The 1000 may but it was done away with. Unfortunately diawa feels the need to have an extra entry point for water and has the reverse switch. The sustain is the same reel with carbontex washers essentially. The difference you feel is the rotor most likely not the gears and the reel will smooth as the gears wear in. Titanium unless it's super high grade is very brittle. The CI4 CI4+ and CI4 fb frames are made with a plastic like resin to save weight and that's why they use titanium as opposed to steel. The CI4s were the first modern finesse reel to hit it out of the park. The original wasn't durable but I have mine that was bought the week it came out in the US almost 10 years ago and it runs fine. The CI4 is likely the most copied reel in modern times. Diawa has hit a home run with the LT line. The ballistic is an excellent reel, the Tatula is a better finesse reel than the fb in some people's opinion, the Fuego is arguably the best value on the market if not it's the BG and the Certate is supposed to be sublime. I haven't fondled or seen one in person yet but to many people are raving about it and it looks sexy. If you are looking for a light reel for fresh water try a Tatula. They are lighter than a CI4. Trouble is there is little protection from water intrusion and no magseal. Even freshwater will damage a reel over time. Im sure you know this but tripping the bail by cranking is detrimental to the reel. I don't know why they insist on auto bail trip for reels on the mid range. I guess the companies fear that manually tripping the bail by gently brushing your fingers against the bail wire at the end of the cast is to much for some people. I've seen people cut the bail wire out after watching a 20 plug fly out past past the breakers due to premature bail trip. I didn't mean to write a book, just trying to clear a few things up. Thanks for the video was good, there is very little info on the FL at this time, in the US especially. Did you pay 40$ for shipping?

      Thanks for the information. I have all the reels you mentioned and some and I agree with all your point. Sounds like you know your reel. I don’t know a lot about reels I just use it and firm my opinion of them. Shipping was free for this reel. Just came out with another video about Abu mgxtreme 2. Check it out on my channel if you like. Again thanks for sharing your knowledge.

      None of them going to cast as good as this one stradic fl plus magseal thing is a pain in xxx for many , old school ar switch shows daiwa still holding back to poorly designe for water intrusion.

      Fish Foot I’m not sure if they’re going to incorporate the Ci4+ composite materials into the F series. I’m a little surprised that they’re killing off one of their most popular reels.... especially with Daiwa surpassing them as the premiere reel manufacturer. Makes very little sense.

      Been using strad family for while, and fk...yah the fk and ci4 got a quite trash line roller but with a careful care and maintenance it will run smooth for a very long time, most of anglers out there does not take the maintenance seriously thus will making the premature wear/tear or parts broken easily...and i just bhought my self a new strad fl...any reel without a proper maintenance will prone to broken easily wether it is high end and expensive or the low end and cheap reel...keep that in mind, even low end will last longer of the high end with proper maintenance...
