I LOVE relapse! Ppl didn't like the accents at first but he used the accents for rhyme schemes.ppl eventually loved it tho.. And revival had a lot of features and just didn't sound that great to me from what i heard..

Most people turn to hate if they don't understand something. What I mean by this is they don't understand Eminem's double/triple/quad entendres and all the other complex internal rhymes and everything else he does.

Walk on water was lyrically good and loved how vulnerable he was in that song... But I had no idea these two connected!!

It's honestly my favorite Eminem album. I think the hate is because he did a lot of pop production, but the production choices make sense when you actually listen to the songs, and the content of the album.

I love this song but I'm not sure how I feel on what he said about government assistance. It's literally keeping some people alive who might be hard workers but don't necessarily have the luck that Eminem had. Some people are gonna stay in poverty no matter how hard they work. Government assistance is a necessity in modern society. I'd argue that we need better government assistance, not less of it.
Conservatives argue that it makes people lazy, but Eminem was on government assistance and it didn't make him lazy. It helped feed him and his daughter until he made it big.
I actually really liked the album, but at the time it did feel kinda... different than what I was expecting. Going back now, though, and listening to tracks like Believe, it's insane how true the kamikaze stuff was that talked about how people just missed the bars.

I don't think Eminem has ever said he wanted to kill his mom maybe other things that works so great. And when he was putting out that he made rap bigger because we were brought up to always respect our mother or a grandmother who ever raised us but either way if we talked back to our mothers we would get slapped. My number one rapper is Eminem if that makes sense everyone has a favorite rapper, but without dope Eminem has Cadence is wrapping abilities is different Cadence he can do anything his music Alone, and the way it speaks to some people that's what he's talking about in this song is Suburban kids because when he went against Trump for us cuz I didn't see anybody else's favorite rapper doing that well mines Does. I liked Revival. It was definitely a different side of Eminem but I still thought it was very well done. At the same time I can understand people complaining about the beat personally I think his lyrical ability makes up for what the beat is missing.

Personally, I prefer MTBMB over Revival. I also prefer MMLP 2 over Revival and probably Recovery (I just love the theme of that one, so encouraging!). But I'd put it side-by-side with Relapse and possibly Kamikaze (although I'd have trouble placing Kamikaze. I like it a lot, but it gets a bit repetitive, content-wise. Except for Good Guy and Stepping Stone)
Revival has many good songs, I think. I really LOVE "Walk on Water" and "River" (oh... the water-scheme. Might be coincidence?), but both of these needed some time in my ears to come to really-truly appreciate them. River... man, the story-telling is great in there, and the video is dope, too.
I also have a soft spot for "Bad Husband" - because of the content (it was about TIME he did that one!) and that chorus, man... hmmmm. "Heat" and "Remind me" are just plain funny. Bars and joking and inappropriateness, all over a rock-beat. But come on - it's Rick Rubin! He pulled that one on MMLP2, with Rhyme or Reason (kinda) and Love Game, too, so it shouldn't be such a surprise. But okay - I get if people don't like it. I do - but I like Rock anyway.
So if you want to react to some more off Revival, I'd suggest you give a second listen to "River" and maybe try "Bad Husband" - that's one for lazy days. No bars.
