Love my 93 YJ Its not comforable, rough riding, but its s joy to drive! The climate control in it is awesome, whatever the climate, its the same in the Jeep.... I have my 2002 2500 4x4 8.1 l Suburban for my luxury cruising
I'd like to have a Suburban that size for a tow rig. I scored such a good deal on my 05 Tahoe LT I couldn't pass it up. The YJs will never win a prize for creature comfort. But, the simplicity and just plain fun to drive wins every time!! Thanks for checking out the video!!
Have a great Christmas yourself! It makes me happy to know that the videos help people save money and giving them the pride of doing the repair or mod themselves. Thanks for checking out the video!
Love your down to earth style of working on your YJ. I agree with the stress of nice paint. I painted my YJ and it looks good but it's a backyard paint job and I figure if it gets scratched, I have more paint and a sprayer and I know how to do it. So I don't stress too much when I hear the brush scraping down the side. 😉
Thats a fact!! That Red paint has taken a beating. When I get that passenger side beat out I'll start researching what bed liner I want to use. Good to see ya on the channel again! Thanks for checking out the video! Have a great day!
Hey Chuck, another great video. Every time I work on my jeep, I check to see if Power Addicts has a related video. You usually do. Thanks for all the great ideas through the years. You said this YJ is a '91. Did you or a prior owner swap in the square roll cage, or was yours a late in the year model as they transitioned to the '92s. I ask because 91 was the last year with the triangle roll cage. They went to the square and added the third, high mount brake light in the 92 model year. I love my 91 islander ("Rufus"). It's got the triangle cage, which looks classic, and it's the first year with the fuel injection. I drove mine off the lot brand new 32 years ago. I've also got an '88 I picked up for my kids. I thought it would be good for them to learn about life with a carb, and then I learned what a POS the OEM BBD carb was, so we pulled it (and about 20 lbs of vacuum lines) and put in a Holley Sniper TBI setup with a hyperspark distributor. What a difference. That conversion would be a great video for you to do. It would be useful for anyone with a 90 or older yj or a cj. It wasn't easy, but it was so worth it.
I swapped the roll bar myself so I could run a frameless soft top if I ever got one. Both of my rigs are injected so no need in doing the Holley Sniper system. It is a great product no doubt!!
Hi, Chuck. I have a rough 91 sahara (love it) 1st mod years ago front lunchbox (spartan) removed both track bars. left the sway bar put the cheepest ebay mud 31s drove it as a second vehicle and wheeled the snot out of it. Recently regeared to 373 added a rear lunchbox in the dana 35. Installed rough country 2.5. now the dang thing has a mind of its own, when i hit the gas it pulls hard to the right sometimes. Ive been chasing this problem for months now. reinstall trac bars replaced steering box, ball joints checked frame around box n schackles. Had an alignment. per rough country tech support. Feels like its in the front end. im at a loss on what to try next. ive watched your videos for a long time n value your opinions. what should i do next?
I had oversized shocks so I put in stock shops in but the rear end of my Jeep feels like it sways when it hits the bumps in the road when I drive on the I was wondering why the Jeep is doing that
I have no way of knowing that. It could be the shocks are too light and not controlling the Jeep. You could have bad bushings ... there is just no way of diagnosing that over a comment on UA-cam.
Nope those are not Ox. Here is a link to the headlights like mine: amzn.to/3SNUhiI I am going to do a LED headlight review soon with the different styles of LEDs on the market. I have run several different styles, these so far are my favorite. They are bright with accurate light focusing. They have a good controlled light cut off to keep from blinding oncoming traffic. In some states, cheap unfocused LED headlights can get you a ticket, these head lights are good to go. Thanks for checking out the video!!
It has a new fuel pump that is supposed to have that check valve to maintain fuel pressure. That Jeep has always been long-winded about starting .. .but .. it always starts. The big 7 is actually on the to-do list soon! It already has a 130-amp Durango alternator that I forgot to mention in the video. Thanks for checking out the video!!

Love it keep it coming
Glad you are enjoying the vids!! Thanks for checking them out!
Nice rig brother. Good start. You could deffently bring that to Rausch and have a good time! Know your limits but hell yeah!
Thanks a lot brother!! I'm in Tennessee, it appears Rausch is in PA? I'd love to travel like the big UA-camrs ... maybe one day!!
@Poweraddicts man if your in Tennessee you got to hit Windrock!
Thank you for the info :)
I think I may try a set of those tires when I get my new axles in :)
They have served me well so far. Just check pricing against other brands you like as well, I don't know if pricing has changed on these.
I never have a problem not skipping ads on channels that produces their own content.
Screw all these "reaction" type videos.
I really appreciate the support!! This UA-cam gig takes a lot of time and work so any support helps. Thank you very much!!

Would love to see the red liner on the exterior! The sun has not been kind to red paint haha

I’ve been looking for, with no luck, how to change the window washer hoses.
That would make a great video! I just put it on my "videos to make ASAP" list. Make sure you subscribe so you don't miss it.

How hard is it to replace the bushings and how many of them are there in a YJ 99
Hi Chuck different have you ever worked on a Honda goldwing
I have to remove the starter for 2004 Honda goldwing
Are they ox headlights also ? I wanna get new ones not sure witch to get

She sounded a little hard to start. Ever think about a big 7 upgrade and bigger alternator? Or did you already do that vid?
