The fact that “it’s okay to seek advice from an expert” are the first words spoken from your new radio cracked me up. Always fun cleaning up other peoples messes. Nice video brotha
sorry for all the issues . If I had known I would had passed it on. I only had it, a couple weeks. before going back to Japan. Your doing a great job on her.
Thanks for your videos!! I have a project 95 YJ with a rats nest of wires hanging near the gear shift. I have to figure out where they all go and what they are/were for. It is always an adventure 😊 All the best, Norm in Arizona
Next time you have to work on stereo stuff let me know. I really enjoy doing it. Blue is about the only vehicle I've left the sound alone on. I can't wait to see Emo crushing the trails.
The Project Emo stuff is all kind of mixed in with The JP Jeep as well as all YJ content, but I just re-ordered the play list so the newest is first and then it works backwards from there. Hope that helps.
For butt connectors, i highly recommend using the shrink tube/solder style. Crimp, hit with a heat gun and you have a solid mechanical connection with water resistance. Better long term 🤙
Hey Matt, love your dedication to keeping the YJ cared for. My family has a 93 YJ my dad bought new. It has sentimental value for all of us as a fun secondary vehicle. 5 years ago we put a bunch of money in it to rebuild engine / trans / lift / seats / paint etc. But the 2.5 inch suspension lift ruined the ride and my dad (having just had a knee surgery) fell out of love with it and I fear he will sell it. It looks great but the ride is harsh and bouncy. Do you have any advice that can be cost effective to save it? Thanks for the great content.
While I’m a JL guy … this was still very fun to watch your problem solving and overall care for Project Emo! Loved it! 👊🏼👊🏼😃😃
Thanks!

Haha. I hadn’t thought about that. Maybe my Jeep was having a knight rider moment.
SAME EXACT THING I TOUGHT! 🤣🤣
Absolutely love the project emo content, I’d love to get a “save the squares” tire cover for my YJs.
Oh man. A Save the Squares tire cover would be sick! ❤
Wow, the previous owner really did a job on this vehicle. I am enjoying watching you get through the issues, though.
Thank you! It’s been a learning curve but I’m enjoying it!

No way! I’m so happy to have her. The issues help make me better and fixing her up!

Thank you! I hope you get it all figured out!
Great video Matt! I'm really enjoying the Emo build series.
Thanks! It’s been a fun project and I’m learning so much.
@@SimplyMustGo for the record I wasn’t screaming at my screen. Loud talking maybe but never screaming. 😂😂
@@oldmanoldtruck hahaha.
Glad your back Matt and very happy to see a new project emo video. Now I'm getting motivated to work on my Jeep haha
Thanks Gary! 🙏🏻
I got really lucky when I bought my YJ the previous owners weren't really into aftermarket stuff so everything is pretty much original
That’s awesome!!!
Nice Work 👍
Thank you!

Hopefully I’m done with stereos for a while. Haha.

Thank you so much! Yeah I’m so happy she’s all put together.

I wish I did.
Murphy's Law for sure. Hey Matt can you please provide a link for the wheel centre hub caps. Thanks so much
I don’t know. These came on the Jeep when I bought it and I think I’m missing one. Guess I should start looking.
@@SimplyMustGo please let me know where you find them. Thanks
Love the videos.
Thank you! 🙏🏻
What seat covers do you have in that thing? If you don't mind me asking
Looks like you need a standard to mini antenna adapter and some Allen wrench sockets from HF to make your life easier. You going to TN next month?
Yep! I’ll be at invasion for sure!
@@SimplyMustGo Cool! Will see if I find you near one of your Jeeps.
Coming late to the game, but that's just going to bubble up with more rust. You should have scraped ALL of the bubbled paint off, then scuff sanded.
Yeah. This was more of a short term fix. The whole Jeep is eventually going to get sanded down and painted again.
Emo needs some arm tatoos and a guitar I think.
Haha. You have no idea. No idea at all. The video I have planned for the actual finished project is going to be so Emo. 🖤
Way too much talking. Just do it, show it, and move on.
