Fire Roll Tutorial And The 3 Most Common Mistakes

1) Use 1" x 4" pieces of lumber for the top and bottom boards... or reasonable facsimile.
2) Use 100% cotton, cotton balls.
3) Unroll and use 6" of one cotton ball.
4) Place a 1/4 tsp of any type of wood ashes on the end of the cotton and roll it up tightly.
5) Place 1/4 tsp of ashes on the bottom board which allows the boards to grip and drive the roll
6) Tighten the roll by giving 5 forward strokes with your hand then 5 more with the top board.
7) Now you're ready to go for the ember/ignition. Bear down hard while rolling back and forth 10 times, turn the roll 180 degrees, roll 10 more times, if it's not smoking continue rolling until you see smoke.
