snakeandmagnum I can already tell this guy was hard to work for and all the credit should go to you good sir because you made the frame! Funny how he is saying that “he built the bike”. However, I’m sure he did do the wrenching.
Yeah, can you imagine. Guy dedicates 11 years to build something he loves, and then gets to share it with Jay, and millions of fans, right when it's done. Talk about hitting a grand slam.
He deserves to be proud of an accomplishment like this! An old friend of mine had a new one in '72 that I got to ride a couple of times and it was very fast for that time. That is certainly a beautiful creation, and the satisfaction of creating the plans and forming parts yourself may be the best part of the build... but the ride "ain't bad!! ;^)
And this is why I love this channel. I'm not even a bike guy, and Jay Leno, with the bikes owner, make it feel so real and pure. Love it! Now I want one! Love seeing average Joe's build something cool
Great job! Beautiful bike built in a garage by a dedicated owner without unlimited funds. Super cars and vehicles from super wealthy are cool, but please show More built vehicles like this from owners like this please.
Jay's best guests are the regular people he meets at bike and car shows.... usually true passionate enthusiasts... doesn't matter what car or bike they might have 😊
Love the sound of the 750 Four engine. I bought a new 1970 sand cast 750 while working at the local Honda dealership when I was 18 years old. This gentleman did a superb job of creating the CR style of his 750. This is the type of video I love from Jay Leno. Beautiful bike and a very cordial guest builder.
JAY... YOU are doing all facets of gear heads / bikers / racers / car nuts / car freaks a great service and high level of enjoyment - no one will ever replace you!!! thank you...
1973 I was a junior in high school, every time we had an assembly I'd jump the fence and walk a few blocks to the Honda shop. I'd buy a pop and hangout always looking at the CB750s and just dreaming. What an amazing bike. Later in life I came across a basically new 750 Nighthawk ---- that was an amazing bike to ride. Also owned a 500 4cyl whis was a fun bike to ride. this is a classic looking bike - great job.
I was beginning to lose faith in myself and my own build....taking a while to build, etc....and then along comes this episode. WOW thanks Vincent (for being a gentleman and sharing w us) and Jay for this - learned a TON, so much great info - hands down my favorite JLG episode!
Great episode. Ordinary guy who had a vision and a love for the era and slowly built an original. Bliss! Thanks for getting him into your garage Jay. This is pure, honest motoring at its best.
Now that you have produced so many videos, I suggest that you use the "Playlists" function to create separate Playlists for bikes vs. cars, new vs. classic, plus the other features that you have: books, restoration blog, tools, etc. It will make it much easier for your fans to find what they are looking for and interested in.
The old version of the website was set up like that, with “groups” for all the different types of cars, reviews, etc. it was great, and I wish they would do something like that on UA-cam (as well as the newer website)
Udo Willkomm I haven’t missed a video in 10 years, but sometimes I like to go back and watch all the “steam” videos, or the “lambo “ vids. You can do a filter search, and that sorta works
I have nothing but respect to this man. He improved a concept introduced in '69 and took it to the next level. Not to mention, a road legal race bike. Just great. Almost like the Carroll Shelby of the motorcycle world.
I love when you have guests like this that seriously love the machine to the point where every inch of it has a story. Great episode and love the bike. "It's got so much character and it's so much fun that's it's not about going fast. It's just about how it makes you feel". This right here is what it's all about.
Jay, thank you for bringing this bike and this gentleman to our attention. Vincent, I share your passion for the 60's Honda race bikes. GREAT job in building this one. I admire your patience !
I enjoyed this video so much. It's exactly what motorcycling should be about. The joy of sharing a passion for two wheels. It's really nice that Jay takes the time to have such a variety of guests on here.
That is one of the best retro-customs I have ever seen. This is as good as anything made by the more famous shops. Stunning. Well done Mr Scarelli!!! The sound...music to my ears...
Had a smile on my face the whole time Jay was riding this bike. I base my motorcycle purchases on how a bike makes me feel. I could care less about the fastest, highest horsepower etc because I want fun not stress.
Jay! He said “ I made the tail light out of lucite over a wooden mold.” And your like, “yeah yeah that’s great, what about blah blah blah.” He made the tail light by hand... strike up the band! shoot some confetti in the air, let’s celebrate this craftsmanship a little. Anyway, I love it. The trumpets are beautiful. The sound is heavenly, thank you sir for building this machine.
Time after time you hit the bullseye Jay. You have no ideal how I look forward to Monday mornings. In fact a couple of months ago my wife commented "oh! it must be Monday, there you are first thing looking at one of those Jay Leno videos". Thanks.
I saw this bike at Corsa Moto Classica and recently at the Rockstore and finally said hi to Vincent, I love this bike! Sir, you are a super nice guy, your bike building is incredible! Your gonna get yourself kilT with your riding though.
WOW!! Fantastic Bike. I love it! I had a 1971 750 Honda and enjoyed every mile. Might be time to re-visit one in an "update". Thank you Jay once again for another outstanding presentation.
My dad raced a Honda in the 80s. Made a 350 from five different bikes, then painted it red, white, and blue lol! He scored 2nd place three times at Daytona. My dad was responsible for getting me into bikes. I grew up flat track and motocross racing. That love for tinkering lead me to cars as well. Very cool video!! Brings back memories for me!
I have a lot of respect for people who have the commitment to work on a project for that many years. I wish I had it in me, but I don't have the drive and focus to take on a long project like that!
Thank you for sharing! I had to pause. " It's about the ride, it's about how it makes you feel". Everyone likes to go fast. Just Ride. I miss our weekends out. I have four brothers. 4 of us guys have had various Motorcycles over the years. Smiles, at one time a Honda CB350!
Awesome Bike & video 👍!!! But I reckon I'm a little partial due to the fact that I've owned the same 1974 CB750k since 1994 . Thanks this video really made me smile 😁😊
Once upon a time it was standard practice for machinists to build prototypes in wood in order to work-out final dementions and plan the order of machining operations. He was just working smarter instead of working harder.
Vincent ... you, Sir, have out done yourself ... that is one gorgeous build!! It looks fantastic, sounds simply awesome and I'll bet it rides just as sweetly too. Much respect. I hope you ride it with pride 👍
This is what you call success. He did what he loved. It took him 11 years but it was 11 years of pleasure and patience. You only get that happiness if you're doing what you've always wanted to do.
Very nice job, I had several Honda 4's in the 70's including the 750 Hondamatic. All were fun. I still kept my 64 Harley Sportster and am on my 3rd. now since that time. Iv'e owned, Japanese, British, Italian and German bikes, liked them all and I never "diss" anyone ride. Thanks Jay!
That is such a beautiful design. I'd love to see someone make an electric bike with this kind of body language. Without the pipes its going to look just so lovely!
Concealed is right, very urban-biker style, usually held on with zip ties and designed to be difficult to see, typically obscured with grease. A light? "Bummer, sorry, officer."
It is always million times more interesting when the build is slowly cooked by the owner for the owner and a labor of love instead of trying to make a coin from customer fast and easy..
I love the faring!!! My first bike was a Triumph Bonneville 750 and I put drop bars, rear sets and a "dust bin" fairing on it. My wife and I were smoking all but the most extreme Japanese bikes in the early 80's. Got to say she had more balls than I did. Her bike was same without faring or drop bars.
@ 17:11 "Whatta You Crazy? - This is my BIKE!!" - I love this guy! 👍👍
Definitely! What a cool guest!
That was the best.
If it was me, I'd say. Yeah, sure. If I can take your McLaren for a rip..
Owned and loved a 750 wow such a great bike. Fast ? Oh Yes!
Dammit! You beat me to the punch! Lol 😎
I am very pleased to have done the welding for this bike, congrats to Vince for making it this far
good job
snakeandmagnum I can already tell this guy was hard to work for and all the credit should go to you good sir because you made the frame! Funny how he is saying that “he built the bike”. However, I’m sure he did do the wrenching.
You for real bro ?
hitek835 Vince is a great guy
John Cavar got a pic or two on my Instagram @travisw711
He bragged about his creation. Not himself. Humble guy. Looked stoked at the end to have been on Jay's show. I always like that. Great bike.
That is certainly a beautiful creation, and the satisfaction of creating the plans and forming parts yourself may be the best part of the build... but the ride "ain't bad!! ;^)
Be a cool to have a beer with. People who take that long to get things that perfect deserve the recognition.
Thank Goodness! Another gentleman guest. I like the video. No BS.
I’m watching now , the owner loves this bike 🏍 and is a great narrator!!
@Bob Smith No BS is pretty much the recipe of the show....and I love it!
I can feel his spirit and passion.. Damn that bike looks very slick and beautiful in any angle..
Two guys talking about bikes. What could be better ? Jay, you're always the gracious host. Thank you.
What a Beauty! Congratulations to the Build!
Such a nice Dude...amazing Episode.
This guy should have been building custom bikes his whole life. This bike is stunningly gorgeous. I would love it in my garage
Well that would've only been about 4 or 5 bikes. If he produced one every 11 years.
@@theone2be33 quality over quantity:)
I would love to have it in my livingroom 😁
OCC is best
Anonymous If it takes him 11 years to build one he'd go broke in 6 months.
Vince is a real character, funny guy and clearly a real craftsman. What a superb bike, he did an excellent job
And this is why I love this channel. I'm not even a bike guy, and Jay Leno, with the bikes owner, make it feel so real and pure. Love it! Now I want one! Love seeing average Joe's build something cool
I was smiling the whole way through the video. Just great stuff.
19:51 "you wanna trade one of your Vincent" lol i love this guy. Must ask question imo.
Great job! Beautiful bike built in a garage by a dedicated owner without unlimited funds. Super cars and vehicles from super wealthy are cool, but please show More built vehicles like this from owners like this please.
True
I would agree
More owners like vince
I'd love more like the Musket. With even the engine owner built.
Got to love a guy like Vincent who devotes himself for such a long time to build a wonderful bike like this. Great video Jay.
My favorite bike on the show so far. It sounds great.
I always have huge respect for guys who do all the work themselves on restorations including the paint.
Marauder252 and the paints got some depth
What a great guy! Wish that was my dad building that kind of bike. Stunning build!
What a cool guy! He made a beautiful replica that speaks to riders of my generation. You can see how impressed Jay is. And rightfully so.
He put his soul in building this gorgeous bike during 11 years, very nicely done, congratulations !
I love the sound and looks.
Beautiful homage to the great 60s Honda factory RC racing machines. Well done, Vince!
Jay's best guests are the regular people he meets at bike and car shows.... usually true passionate enthusiasts... doesn't matter what car or bike they might have 😊

This gentleman did a superb job of creating the CR style of his 750. This is the type of video I love from Jay Leno. Beautiful bike and a very cordial guest builder.
Mr. Scarelli is the coolest guests you've ever had on your show, by far.
Also owned a 500 4cyl whis was a fun bike to ride. this is a classic looking bike - great job.
I'm a BMW guy but the 500 4cyl always caught my eye.
I was in High School late 70's and still remember my first, and only 750 test ride. btw, it was blue.
I was beginning to lose faith in myself and my own build....taking a while to build, etc....and then along comes this episode. WOW thanks Vincent (for being a gentleman and sharing w us) and Jay for this - learned a TON, so much great info - hands down my favorite JLG episode!

Good solid advice. I will keep this in mind as my channel grows (hopefully)
The old version of the website was set up like that, with “groups” for all the different types of cars, reviews, etc. it was great, and I wish they would do something like that on UA-cam (as well as the newer website)
No need.
For another channel, i would say you are right. For this channel? Naah...i look the videos anyway...
Udo Willkomm I haven’t missed a video in 10 years, but sometimes I like to go back and watch all the “steam” videos, or the “lambo “ vids. You can do a filter search, and that sorta works
This episode was so warm and sweet. Loved the bike, but all the humanness surrounding the story was so beautiful. Thanks...
Beautiful, well thought out build. Tail light is a nice touch. Engine sounds great. A joy to ride no doubt. Well done Sir!!
The episode and the admiral's Ferrari are the two best shows so far. And I love Jay Leno's Garage.
I have nothing but respect to this man. He improved a concept introduced in '69 and took it to the next level. Not to mention, a road legal race bike. Just great. Almost like the Carroll Shelby of the motorcycle world.
Awesome to have an owner on who's spent a decade building his machine. Would love to see more guys like this on Jay.
This bike has great sound and looks so cool. I've never heard one of the old single cams sound so great. Great that Jay has him on the show.
Great build by Mr. Scarelli... Solid interview by Jay. Well done!
One of the better custom builds. What a great effort and beautiful result.
Such a gorgeous bike my oh my!
I enjoyed this video so much. It's exactly what motorcycling should be about. The joy of sharing a passion for two wheels. It's really nice that Jay takes the time to have such a variety of guests on here.
I love when Jay does bikes and this was one of my faves! Love the look of this custom and the story was great!
What a lovely bike, and the builder is a real gentleman....great video!
Jay Leno. Thousands of vehicles. One shirt.
That is one of the best retro-customs I have ever seen. This is as good as anything made by the more famous shops. Stunning. Well done Mr Scarelli!!!
The sound...music to my ears...
Jay, amazing bike and guest. One of the best episodes ever!
Had a smile on my face the whole time Jay was riding this bike. I base my motorcycle purchases on how a bike makes me feel. I could care less about the fastest, highest horsepower etc because I want fun not stress.
Allen Millyard needs to bring his bikes from the Barber Museum to the garage. Could make 2-3 episodes just with his incredible builds.
You meet the nicest people on Jay Lenos garage... great episode
A captivating episode. a lovely build. Jays shoe laces need tying on the outside. Has anyone else ever had them catch on the gearshift ? lol
Nice owner, cool bike. Now this is the definition of build your own bike. It would be great to see more motorcycles like this in Jay's harage...
Jay! He said “ I made the tail light out of lucite over a wooden mold.” And your like, “yeah yeah that’s great, what about blah blah blah.”
He made the tail light by hand... strike up the band! shoot some confetti in the air, let’s celebrate this craftsmanship a little.
Thanks.
Of all the builds that get started its fantastic to see someone actually finish one.
love this channel, watching from London, England. Nice to see a bit of LA and it's people and machines
The bike, and its owner are class acts.
Thank you Jay this video is absolute gold
This is the best type of Jay's video...a guy I can relate to doing something he loves just because.
Super clean! This has got to be the best looking cafe racer CB-750 I've ever seen; so sleek looking it looks like it's going 120mph standing still!
Really great guest--super humble, friendly, and did a great job having a conversation with Jay. Nice work.
This web show is one of my favorite ones. I look forward to mondays.
Love the one-off build by a passionate hobbyist. This is great! May Mr. Scarelli have many years of enjoyment with this project.
I love that you bring Regular Joe's into your shop to show their cars and bikes.. Very Cool.
I love these type of guests, just people with a love for the mechanical,
Vincent is awesome! One of the best episodes.
Brings back memories for me!
love these bike episodes
He rarely does one. Japan bikes the best. No way of her wise. Italian bikes are nice too, British bikes.
Me too, like your name too.
Right?
There should be a motorcycle playlist.
Best resto and guest for an age. Vincent you are a legend. Thanks for sharing your bike and knowledge.
He takes a masterpiece and makes a masterpiece. So cool. Ride it for our 100th birthday. Thanks for the show, Thailand Paul
This style was a few years before my interest in bikes grew but I love this bike and historic style
I have a lot of respect for people who have the commitment to work on a project for that many years. I wish I had it in me, but I don't have the drive and focus to take on a long project like that!
"You want to trade for one of your Vincents?" This builder is a peach. Well damn done.
The bike came out so great that even Soichiro Honda would've been proud of it!
my first bike was a '72 CB750 w/full Vetter - great video and the sound brings back great memories.
That bike is awesome! I love it and it goes fast! Awesome video like always!
It's a cool bike but watch the video again. right from the start it's not about going fast, it's how it makes you feel.
Awesome Bike & video 👍!!! But I reckon I'm a little partial due to the fact that I've owned the same 1974 CB750k since 1994 . Thanks this video really made me smile 😁😊
Gotta love it!! ✊🏻🏁⚙️🛠
Funny being a carpenter he prototyped custom pieces in wood! 👌🏼
Too much emojis dude.
I wantes to hear more about how he made that tail light. I think Jay was eager to start riding though.
Once upon a time it was standard practice for machinists to build prototypes in wood in order to work-out final dementions and plan the order of machining operations. He was just working smarter instead of working harder.
Thanks jay for taking the time for us thanks again
Vincent ... you, Sir, have out done yourself ... that is one gorgeous build!! It looks fantastic, sounds simply awesome and I'll bet it rides just as sweetly too. Much respect. I hope you ride it with pride 👍
This is a great episode, I love the 'guy in his garage' builds.
Congrats Vincent - amazing build and returns to the spirit of the time. Simply great.
This is what you call success. He did what he loved. It took him 11 years but it was 11 years of pleasure and patience. You only get that happiness if you're doing what you've always wanted to do.
Two old timers nerding over bikes. Love it!
Love Jay, can’t wait to see him here in Nashville soon
Jay finds the nicest guys. Guys with the same passion that he has.
Just kids remembering the good old days! Real cool bike.
I have always admired Honda. They don't brag, they are not flashy, just tastefully styled, and everything they make is bulletproof.
Thanks Jay!
Absolutely beautiful , congratulations Sir and thanks to Jay for presenting it !
That is such a beautiful design. I'd love to see someone make an electric bike with this kind of body language. Without the pipes its going to look just so lovely!
Such a great episode and the owner is one hell of a nice guy. He chose the right bike to modify and he did it with class. Bang on!
I like how the license plate is concealed. Very clever job.
Concealed is right, very urban-biker style, usually held on with zip ties and designed to be difficult to see, typically obscured with grease. A light? "Bummer, sorry, officer."
Yeah... NOT Unusual.
Definitely no legal place to have a license plate lol :)
And it's illegal.
I used to ride with guys who'd keep their plates all bent up so they were hard to read.
And the way it sounds is just sublime.
I think everyone can appreciate the home builder. Very entertaining episode.
It is always million times more interesting when the build is slowly cooked by the owner for the owner and a labor of love instead of trying to make a coin from customer fast and easy..
super inspirational, and its nice to see the guy getting a spot. so proud to own a cb750 myself.
It even looks smooth. Having built a '71 Kawasaki H2 750 for myself; I understand the passion !.
I loved it when the owner said “What are you crazy? It’s MY bike !”
