Oil in the screwholes will RUIN the diff. This is a great tutorial except for a few super important things that will absolutley ruin a high power output machine. Oil in the screwholes will hydrolock when installing the screw and ruin the threads, the diff will later split under load and it will be a bad day. I recommend to use a small 1.5mm drill and drill straight through so that the oil can escape on the backside. This is only possible on 3 holes due to the small "bleedhole" screw being in the way of the last hole. For the most extreme setups and for bashers with big tires I use longer screws. Always keep the threads as clean as possible and use a few drops of blue loctite on the screw where it seats on the ringgear. Now enjoy your durable diffs👍🏽. Love your vids Raz! Keep doing you!
The quick and most effective way to fill is to put some fluid in first before the gears then do it in turn, No waiting for the fluid to run through and past the gears and you know there's no air gaps. The thicker the oil the more time it saves.
Thanks for sharing Raz. I can sense this weather is getting us all down 😞 I’m Interested to see the second part of FG build, keeping that in mind hopefully we can all get out to do what we love soon! SPEEDRUN…..
Hey Raz mate, that thick oil: tip, when you start to work on the diff, leave the bottle of oil in a cup of boiling water until you need it to heat up the oil a bit. Comes out much easier then.
I like to add a dab of CA glue to all of the Arrma nuts to keep them in place. Keeps them from falling out or moving when putting the screws back in. Easy simple fix
Awesome and helpful video Raz! Appreciate it! I've also never taken my diff out like you did, I usually just disassemble the shocks and front links to get more wiggle room and remove the bulkhead screws like you did and bam, out comes the diff assembly. Thanks bro 🤙😎
What's good Raz? I usually stick any heavy thick fluid in a cup of hot water to make it more manageable. I use powder Teflon no slinging and it stays on the gear keeps it rubbed and it doesn't roar as loud. Good vid tho thank you. 👍🏾👍🏾
So this is the “easy way” ….. I’m curious to know what other ways there are to change diff fluids…. Great instructional video RAZ. I’m still waiting to see you hit 203mph!
Need to add a gyro screwdriver to my tool kit. Also perfect pass for a speed build. Is perfect pass available on Amazon uk 🇬🇧? Was trying to find it. Keep up the good work Raz my man
Nice work Raz. I may have to do something like this with my Infraction, seems to be a light coating of oil around the front area. Might be a leaky shock though, unsure.
Can you do a video on how to not over tighten the front hubs for the steering I never can get it perfect I'm very picky about hiw this set up is as far for the steering
Great video! I did the middle and rear but was unsure how to remove the front splitter bumper in 1 peice. I will have 500k in front and rear and 1mill in center on a 1250kv 8s 160amp spectrum system infraction.
Great tips, very helpful, like to hear you say don't over think it, cause sometimes I wonder if something I'm doing is OK, like loosening the diff cover that's something I would do if I felt necessary for the situation, thanks again great tips👍👍
Yo I am your biggest fan and I have a arrma felony to at yesterday I was playing my arrma felony and something when wrong the diff does not want to drift or the gear but I don’t know what happened to my arrma felony it doesn’t want to drift😅
Hey everyone, I'm kinda new to the hobby so I'm looking for a little info. Is 1 million too thick for all the diffs? My local hobby shop suggested it?? Is this a good idea? 🤷🏻♂️
Until they significantly lose viscosity. You will know when you rotate the wheels and there is zero resistance between both sides. That, or if the differential cup leaks.
Why worry about diff fluid in a basher? No reason to tune something you are going to drive down the street or take to the local skate park. If you don't race just back with some grease and go haha

at this point it don't matter what video you put it out its always a pleasure to watch and learn something new every time just keep it up Raz!

I've car engine blocks split from head bolt holes not being cleaned out.

I don’t even do speed builds but man this is quality content! Keep it up with the amazing innovation

Cool!!
The plastic bottle would melt before the viscosity of silicone oil was affected.
Hey Raz, thanks for sharing all your Rc Knowledge with all of us new to the Rc Game !
Love the video keep up the amazing work Raz

Was wandering if you used diff fluid or lockers now I know thank you

Raz I's the man RC king
For the viewer info, you can also use a paper towel or a napkin. Raz must have an aggressive supply of ass wipe!! 😂😂😂😂 Thanks for the video Raz.
I always wait for one of your videos to drop 💯💎💯💎
Great video Raz 👍👍
Thanks for this I probably would have taken too much apart trying to get to the diff.
Super vidéo bientôt une vidéo en français
thanks that was really helpful

Always can count on you for good info...didn't know what can of lub to use for outer diffs..thanks Raz.
Hi. Have you tried a single 12S motor with two 6S batts in series on a Infraccion? Is it a good option? Thanks.
Morning Raz!
"A lot more jIiiIiiIiiiIizZZzzZz" hahaha 😆
So spool ✔
Rear differential locked?
Front differential locked?
Makes faster?
Great video. I've been doing this for months but I still learned something. +1 Raz
Nice video
Great video thanks for sharing. FYI jizz on the table is a totally different video. Lol
Great vid tnx
10:54 pro tip!
Man, I was surprised you didn't use a seringe to insert that lube into the diff!
Could you make a video on what does different weights do like if I was building a drag build for a felony what diff fluid should I do
good
Great video. What oil weights would you recommend for the Front/Rear of the 3S infraction? Thanks.
Yo I am your biggest fan and I have a arrma felony to at yesterday I was playing my arrma felony and something when wrong the diff does not want to drift or the gear but I don’t know what happened to my arrma felony it doesn’t want to drift😅
Hold up hold up.... I haven't watched but I swear I saw no fluid on my maintenance hahah
Do you support a local hobby shop if yes do you recommend one for me to visit
I spent all day cramming a 1/10th scale motor in my 1/16 RC. I realized this is in fact YOUR FAULT!
Your fault
@@right-behind-you lol
ever try heating your oil up before filling the dif?
Sharp Vid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dope
what brand hex drivers are you using?
First finally.yes!
Where do u put the shims inside off the bearing or on the outside off them
What grade of oil are you using for the rear differential?
Hey everyone, I'm kinda new to the hobby so I'm looking for a little info. Is 1 million too thick for all the diffs? My local hobby shop suggested it?? Is this a good idea? 🤷🏻♂️
why do you want your sway bar to be loose? please advise
What is that stuff silicone?
🔥👍✌️
@Madona Lovely💜💜 I only speak English ✌️
Hi, how often is it advisable to replace the silicone of the differentials? greetings

Did he say “jizz on the table” at 4:46 ?
Real gear oil smells horrible after a few heat cycles. Just curious, what's 1 million weight smell like after a while? lol
4th 😁😂😁
yeah i know the drill - its a DeWalt
Idk why I watched this , only have traxxas cars right meow
Why worry about diff fluid in a basher? No reason to tune something you are going to drive down the street or take to the local skate park. If you don't race just back with some grease and go haha
Don’t be lazy, use a $3,000 ultrasound cleaning machine.

I have 4 in depth videos on filling a dif also check it out. I have that and more. My Chanel is small but I want to help people with there rc cars
