Thanks! New fan installed and two random screws as spare... dunno where they go, but I'm not taking it apart again. Dell definitely started with the fan first philosophy!
Just did mine, thanks for the video, but I didnt remove the wifi card or the bluetooth. In fact I only removed the right side screen hinge and support and was able to get the fan out without removing the motherboard either.
I wish you would make a video :)
I hope you mean the left side hinge as the fan is on the left side.
@@wildonemeister going back a while now but pretty sure after taking off the right side I could just lift the board up enough to get the fan out, but it was a while ago now🙂
still DEll did crap on this model.. Son of btchs can't believe they did this
Спасибо друг, без тебя я бы не заменил вентилятор👍
Good tutorial, although they missed one hinge screw at 2:44. There are 5 screws in total, the fifth belongs in the screw hole marked by the triangle. Found out the hard way by having one spare screw after almost completely reassembling the laptop.
horrible engineering by dell just to remove the fan
it way worst than you think , I just remove whole laptop just to reset the BIOS battery
I cant believed Dell designed a laptop this way..the SOB's.
Do you know by any chance how to clear the BIOS admin password in a Latitude e5430? Or at least the IC in the board that stores the info and if by grounding it can be cleared?
its like defusing a fucking bomb
...this is a sign that it’s just time to buy a newer damn laptop lol
OMG! I will never buy this model ever again!
@@brahimsaad6287 my comment was from almost a year ago. I don't remember. Check the dates on the comments your are responding to.
NEVER
thank you!!
Shit i just want to clean the fan not the whole laptop
why must it be the freaking fan the last thing to get out.. thank you dell ..
😠 it dosent work
Look's like when Dell design their laptops they start off with the fan and build outwards 😒
ah, hell nah. Imma just buy a new laptop or get it to a repair shop
😂 here I thought this would be easy
Hah, I wish!
Just to remove the fan?!!!!
I just picked up this model laptop a few hours ago....Now I half regret and should have bought the E6420 that I had before.
@@2fast4all sorry about that...the laptop itself is okay but this is really lousy engineering from Dell.
holy shit
Worst cpu fan to change. nice video.
What kind of laptop designs was that? Are they seriously guiding people to do all these just to remove a fan for cleaning? A laptop fan should always be easy access for maintenance purposes, just what on earth are they trying to do? I am very lost. I could only think that they were trying to trick people into buying new ones. What a joke!
Thx. You hlp me ;)
