You could do the “ward Burton challenge” where in you have to try and win a championship in season mode but you have to bring out the caution at the end of the first run in every race
@@AgentFortySeven47Tony Stewart only scored 4800 points in 2002. Really it just depends on how inconsistent the field is. There was one season I ran in NASCAR Racing 3 where Dick Trickle won the title with 3911 points in 36 races. An average finish of below 18th was good enough to win that year, because everyone had identical ratings, so all 43 cars averaged somewhere between 18th and 24th.
That’s more of a math question than a gameplay question. I’m sure a mathematician will stumble upon this comment and tell us the answer… eventually if at all
At first I thought this was just dumb, you could easily just dominate all 4 series, then I remembered some events force you to pick one and bail another. I don’t think he would be able to reasonably record a video like that. It takes him 7-8ish hours just playing 1 season in one sitting, I can’t imagine how much scheduling and preparation would have to be done for recording plus editing. That’s a lot of storage needed and many hours of playing and editing
@@thicccheese4007I’ve done this challenge before, it really wouldn’t be as long as you think considering he was doing 5% races here. He’d probably play about 5-6 hours of gameplay across that whole season, and I could see it coming out to like a 1 hour video. It’s doable and could be a fun challenge to watch. I wasn’t able to beat it, I couldn’t win the Nextel Cup while trying to win titles in the other 3 series too.
19:35 That's probably the only way Valvoline era Johnny Benson could win at Talladega. He had absolutely no luck there in real life during the Valvoline era.
Bill Elliott got his first Bristol win in 15 years and his first road course win in 20 Also, I don't know if anyone else has thought of this already but for CFTC 2005 season mode I made up a challenge where I simulate the first third of the season as a fantasy driver, then switch drivers to whoever happens to be the lowest actual driver in the standings to try to battle back to win the championship. I did it for the Truck Series & that happened to be Jon Wood, I was only able to get him back up to 4th I think
My friend and I were just talking about what the Lowest Average Finish you could possibly win the championship with. We were talking about the Modern Playoffs, but any era would be great to see
Under the Latford system, it depends entirely on how inconsistent everybody is. If everyone's cars were exactly identical, then anybody could win one week and then run last the next. When that happens, everyone's average finish converges towards the middle. On three occasions in NASCAR Racing 3, this resulted in the championship being won by a driver with an average finish below 18th (I think 18.5 was the record low). While 43rd in points was still less than 1000 points down. The current playoff system could theoretically make an average far lower win, for as long as you win once in the regular season, once in each playoff round and finish highest among the final four, you could theoretically start-and-park 31 times and still win the championship. The exact average would depend on field size, but would probably be around or below 30th.
You want a video idea for NASCAR Thunder 04? I've got a hilarious one. There is a Pace lap bug where the AI can crash on the pace lap and can DNF as a result when you go to start the race. The challenge? see if you can win a race by causing all the AI to DNF before the race starts.
@@nattiedraws the challenge is kind of out of feasible odds, because there would be like 10 drivers who would always finish ahead of him unless he manages to wreck every single one of those guys
if you were to maximize each week (11th and the maximizing bonus points), you would've finished with more points than Tony Stewart did in 2002 (+240 points over his total) when he won his first title. So, in the pre-chase era, this would've been very interesting
You should try seeing if you can win the world championship in Grand Prix 3 driving the Prost with the competitiveness of the cars set too realistic 1998 season settings.
Actually due to you manipulating the races your entire team was suspended, you were docked points and fined and Jeff Gordon gets added into the imaginary playoff picture
“Wake up babe, kamikaze just uploaded a new NT2004 challenge”
There was once a point in my life where I might actually hear things like that and unfortunate it's over
Babe?
praying for u buddy@@jc1424

Not even exaggerating, these NASCAR Thunder challenge runs are some of my favorite videos on all of youtube, I love when you do these
The drama you add to Wayd Buyton at Bristol is incredible, by the way.
*Next challenge:* _What's the lowest amount of points you can get & still win a championship in NT2004?_
isn't that basically what this is? he only won by 6 points and didn't finish above 11th, hard to win a championship with less points than that

Challenge idea; winning all 4 championships in one season in CFTC 2005
At first I thought this was just dumb, you could easily just dominate all 4 series, then I remembered some events force you to pick one and bail another.

22:30 Only thing I can imagine is this is a failed sideswipe by Rudd lmao what a uniquely beautiful DNF

One of the best challenges I’ve seen, this was a ridiculously entertaining season
This man has made me a fan of Casey Mears #41 lmao
21:08 I've only seen this once before ever in this game & that was during one of Mark Leiffer's videos.
18:03 not taking the video down and instead just making a disclaimer about this is crazy
Now this is motorsport
34:15 😀
Thanks for the shoutout! 😊

Another Challenge: Can you win a championship season with a very loose setup.
New challenge: DNF the first 15 races and pull a Kyle Busch 2015
Always love what you can come up with at NT2004 and its always a blessing when you upload one :)
OtHeRwIsE KnOwN As ThE RoCk
As a tony stewart fan. This video was hilarious. Excellent work my friend
"Talk shit, get hit"
What a rollercoaster ride that was! Congrats Kamikaze! :)
Next Challenge: can you win a nascar thunder 2004 career mode championship with half of the races simulated?

Next challenge idea: Win a championship without a lead lap finish
John Delphus McDuffie Jr. would be proud
But why same 41 font from 2002 in the game?
Can’t wait for can you win a championship in NT2004 without finishing a race

Just what I wanted! Cole Whitt Simulator!
DNF every race and STILL win the championship?
Easy. Crash everybody else then park the car. Did that on NASCAR Racing 1 when I was 8.
Idea for video: can you win a championship by starting last every race? (preferably in your rookie season where you can upgrade your car)
Can you win a championship without ever changing tires? 5% race length, unlimited tires/fuel off.
well done! see what happens if you try and win a championship without ever duplicating the same finish position
that would require an average finish of 18.5 or lower... best finish of 1st, lowest finish of 36th, and everything else in between
@@jc1424thats why it's a challenge
@@nattiedraws the challenge is kind of out of feasible odds, because there would be like 10 drivers who would always finish ahead of him unless he manages to wreck every single one of those guys
love these videos
wow I never would've thought this would work
get as many cars in the chase in nascar 05
if you were to maximize each week (11th and the maximizing bonus points), you would've finished with more points than Tony Stewart did in 2002 (+240 points over his total) when he won his first title.
So, in the pre-chase era, this would've been very interesting
I don't care if I should win a championship in Nascar Thunder 2004 without any top 10s! Why are you asking me this? Are you challenging me?
Can you win the Championship while making an extra stop every race (potentially unforced yellows)?
so kg what episode is that in the background
most of it seems to be wheel of fortune. Which specific one is an outstanding question
If yellow comes up with no gas you dnf. That was a really great crash.
You should try seeing if you can win the world championship in Grand Prix 3 driving the Prost with the competitiveness of the cars set too realistic 1998 season settings.
Why wouldnt you use modern era stats (from 1972 to present)?
Its kinda hard to get 45 top 10s in only 36
I'd like to see you do this in NASCAR 2005 CftC.
how about do a 100% season as mark martin on nascar 06 total team control and try to win the chgampionship
Next challenge: Can you win the championship in NT2004 by winning the race in reverse only?
Masey Cears!
Challenge: Jack Sprague Guardian Angel
40:50 By my count we’re at like 21, so close enough.
Challenge: Can you win a Championship while making everyone your rival
you need foam on your walls or something to suppress the reverb in your room
3% race length no qualifying, start 43rd each race
Challenge idea: Can you win a championship without changing tires or repairing damage?
brilliant
Bristol baby?
YYEEAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
cool
Actually due to you manipulating the races your entire team was suspended, you were docked points and fined and Jeff Gordon gets added into the imaginary playoff picture
LETS FUCKING GOOOOO
48:11 5th
21:06
51:41
42:13
It's not a challenge when you're manipulating the results & the field, determining who gets points & who doesn't. All this is, is cheating.
Your funfacts are annoying. Not really fun either
fun fact: i dont care
Funner fact. I'm never watching another one of your videos 😀
the horror. nice self thumbs up btw
