I never gave the graves era much thought, but after watching and hearing him speak, I definitely got a new respect for him. What a good dude!!

It’s funny they wanted to be Van Halen because the Misfits are the VH of punk. Danzig era = Roth era, Graves era = Hagar era, Only era = Cerone. VH reunited with Roth and left out Anthony. Misfits reunite with Danzig and leave out any original drummers.

I like how he uses the words like develop and writing and configiring..............dude...they are just punk songs bro. I kinda get sick of that professionalism shit in music like that.
Good punk anthems do take that. I know it’s not complex but making sure the singing and instrument are all aligned to make a track like Dig Up Her Bones takes a bit. Especially when originally it was an acoustic performed differently that Michale wrote when he was 17.
@@coltonnelson2494 i wrote many punk songs with my bands, and covered many misfits songs. They ate the most basic, 4/4 shit , not that I dont appreciate my roots. The easiest guitar riffs, all down picking. Idk, if you have ever played music but misfits stuff is very basic and elementary. Not that its doesmt have its place in the world or my heart.
