@@mokkent1: I saw MW live, Fillmore Auditorium, summer 1967. Two sets. If you'd been there your opinion might be different.
By the way, an unknown folk singer opened for Muddy. No band; just him, his guitar, and a sitar. Richie Havens.
Also, this was the original Fillmore on Fillmore St. San Francisco. (Not Fillmore West).
