Hmm, ends with an invite to the next lesson, which I assume will be telling us about the fruiting stage, or showing us what happened during the time between finishing up here and the log actually bearing fruit. Any plans for the next stage? Looking forward to getting the benefit of my Shiitake kit.

Hi Brian, after the end of the video there isn't much more to do with the log other than let nature take its course and await your mushrooms when the conditions are correct!

I got one of your kits recently - wish I watched this video first!🙃
The logs I have are not perfect (not wide enough) but fingers crossed they will still work!
Hopefully in a year or so I'll be rolling in Shiitake 😂

    Hi Guys, nice video!
For log cultivation I would use Lac balsam tree wound dressing. It's packaged in a tube, so ready to go and easy to handle.
Keep on going with the video's!
Greetings, Rein (the cook at Mycelia ;-) )

The very best time is spring but you can also do it in September before it gets too frosty!
