Hi Brian, after the end of the video there isn't much more to do with the log other than let nature take its course and await your mushrooms when the conditions are correct!
I got one of your kits recently - wish I watched this video first!🙃 The logs I have are not perfect (not wide enough) but fingers crossed they will still work! Hopefully in a year or so I'll be rolling in Shiitake 😂

The very best time is spring but you can also do it in September before it gets too frosty!
