It's so nice to hear Chris get more involved. He used to be mainly silent but now he fits right in.
I have to agree. It really was nice to see him speaking up n sharing. ♥️😊👍
My mom bought a chamber pot in Norway. They called them Gazunda's cause it😊 Gazunda the bed.
Lol....back in " the day" there was a movie with Richard Chamberlain ( my heart throb of the day! ha) the name of the movie was THE Thornbirds! Maybe that's where the birds on thorns came from??? Just a little whimsy to share with you!
What a HAUL indeed! I'm in LOVE with the very large Jack O' Lanterns, and the store display Santa is awesome! Great pieces as always. Thanks for sharing.
In a red suit Chris would look a little like that Santa store display, and I mean that in a good way!! Great haul!!
Yes. They said it was a store display
I just Love watching you and Chris!!! The LOVE just " oozes"!!! How nice!!!!
Those molds are amazing!!!!!!
I love these cabinets too.
Love love love the santa. And the bunny and chicken molds. Great haul. It's so nice that you and Chris can do this together.
Bibles and sheep! I love collecting those too! Also, I love your sweet attitude! You are a beautiful sister! One day we will be friends in heaven! The days are hard but the Lord provides, even lovely moments hearing you having a good time sharing a hunt with hubby!
I have always wanted a barrister’s cabinet ,named that because when they first originated they were so expensive only barristers (attorneys) could afford them. I have never found one I can afford. If you got a good price on that one, that’s amazing because it’s beautiful!
Loved the barrister cabinet. My Mom had one made out of oak by an Amish cabinet maker it is beautiful. My brother got it. So many great items. Chris is really getting more vocal and we like seeing you two interact. Happy Easter! 🤗
I had a fish like that! I kept it for years because I was fascinated about how it might have moved! Funny things!
Wow! You n Chris did well at the auction n a few antique shops. I thought those rocking horses were cool. Also how each one was moved differently. Have to say you guys scored well. I was drooling over many of the pieces you were showing. I find it’s wonderful that the two of you have much in common n love what you do. I’m also hoping that day will come when Chris can be home all the time. Believe, it’ll happen.
♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟
Brown's Mule and Days O Work both were brands of plug chewing tobacco. I come from a region of Southern Appalachia that most men my grandfather's age chewed plug tobacco. Younger generations used pouch, then still younger used shredded like Skoal. The women my grandmother's age used powdered tobacco.... Snuff. Only they dipped it like Skoal instead of sniffing it like the Europeans did in the 17th & 18th centuries. My grandma used Bruton's Sweet Scotch Snuff. It came in drinking glasses. That's all my granny had to drink out of! I'd give anything for a couple of her snuff glasses!
Interesting.. thank you for sharing
That santa head was creepy!!!
My goodness what a great great video, I can now lift my jaw back up😵 Phew!
That is amazing
Clydesdale piece!!!..I’ve seen them before only one in pristine condition!!..born and raised St. Louis mo so be still my heart with your love of Budweiser ❤❤❤❤…we are proud of our beer and establishment !..ya’ll are great
Couldn't sleep so got up and you 2 were on. Think I've seen you before but you 2 are the best!..would like to subscribe but..couldn't get connected..I'll keep trying....thank you for your knowlege....
You got amazing finds❤
I'm in love with the paper mache jack o lanterns! What a score!
I think th bird pictures might have come from a room screen as panel features ergo the thorns. Also Sandown Race Course is between London and Woking. The roulette wheel has an English feel to the horse images. I think the ship picture is 1875 not 1975. The cabinet with the slide glass doors is gorgeous, keep it. What a great haul you’ve got.
I am also obsessed with the barrister bookcases. I have two one I got for a great deal from an estate sale, and the other was from my grandmother. She and her brother each got one from their first grade teacher.
Oh.. there’s something about them❤
15:15 I wonder if this one was actually from 1875 (rather than 1975)! Stunning frame. What a great haul
Lots of comments said it was the early
@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney Nice! It’s beautiful 😍
You got so many amazing things but my favorite is Chris' pair of rocking horses and the rusty crusty weathervane was a close second.
The tins sheets were impressed in plug tobacco. In old general stores they would buy “flats” of chewing tobacco and cut off a square or plug to sell to individuals.
I loved all of your finds! Especially love all the chocolate bunny molds! ❤
Wow great scores. I’m so happy to see Chris getting so comfortable in front of the camera. Love watching you guys.
I love this video. So much fun! I’m amazed at all your auction wins. I’d have any of them in my home. I collect aged metal whatever too! Your husband is a great addition.
Fun to watch and dream
WOW! I’m shocked at the price one the big sign, I would never have guessed. Great haul.
Love that Ralph Lauren inspired jockey pic and frame loooveee it❤
OMG!!! That painting with ships is 1875!!!!! Not 1975. By Abraham Hulk👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁He died in the late 1800s. Some of his paintings can be worth A LOT!!!! Hope this helps you research it.😁
Oh.. WOW!! I read that wrong. Thank you
Such wonderful things. The snow at the auction was interesting. You are dedicated! I live in Reno, Nevada and we just had my first white Easter.
It makes my heart go pitter- patter just listening to you mention different places in Michigan ! ( as I am from there, but it has been years since I've been there.! )
You got a lot of great finds. I know you like to pick up those vintage molds, I had an "oh, that would be cool" moment when I saw them...have you ever thought of using your paper mache mush to press into to molds to make cute vintage animals for your projects? I'm going to start keeping an eye out for them for myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
Omg, years ago, I worked at a department store, and we had registers similar to this. The older ladies were freaking out when we went to computers. This was back when you had to know how to make change. (And I am in my 50s now). Kids today can't do it. They rely on the machine. Crazy. Love your channel and you guys!
I was a store manager for several years. Teaching the younger generations (I was born in 1965 so I'll let you determine which ones I'm referring to..... usually mid-1990s to those current working age). was nearly impossible to teach them to count back change!
I'm pretty sure you will work your magic on the doctor's bag. Love, love, love the rooster weathervain. You scored again, great stuff.
Love the seltzer bottle!!!
Loved this video , I absolutely loved the look on Chris’s face when you were mentioning the adult toys LOL 😂 I’m taking a wild guess that all the gambling was going on while they we’re waiting for their turn for the adult toys 😂😂😂❤( just being goofy)
The white jars with black lids look like Griffith Spice Jars without the label..i have a set with the wood stand.. you can still order the labels over the Internet..
After a bit of research, I think that label on the back of your gorgeous horse painting is from Biggs & Sons "Carvers Gilders, and Picture Restorers; 3L Conduit St. Bond Street, London, looking glasses supplied • old frames regild." According to the National Portrait Gallery website, a Biggs and Sons is listed among the British Picture Framers archives as being in operation 1853-1856.
Wow… thank you
I love both your channel's! But I love seeing the process! Plus I love seeing you and Chris together. You guys are so cute. I still say you need to have a professional picture of you two, done up in old-time Scottish garb.
Love the Barrister bookcase! Have several of them myself!! Fun haul.
The fun you have!!!!
I wished we had in person auctions. All our auctions are on line only.
You guys are so good together! ❤ God bless.🤗
Oh… those old gold frames and the beautiful old German Christmas items.
Love the bingo spinner. We have one at work, and I always wished I could have it. But it is stille used.
Oh my word. I loved this video. You and Chris were able to bring home some good things. I love the crock with handle and those SHEEP! I love seeing Mr. Chris. Can you share what his 9 - 5 job without details for privacy reasons? And if you would rather not, I totally understand. Have a great week!
That creepy Santa was too cool for school!..Halloween gal here .be great in my display..I wish😅❤
I was so excited you got the molds. They are so beautiful!❤❤
You guys find some really nice items. I love the old stuff for the history.
I love the Christmas trees
Wonderful haul!!🎉 unique things!❤ Thanks for sharing!😊
Yeap, Lake Odessa has a couple honey holes in that town. Chris does a good Vanna impression. Looks like you had a ball.
Fantastic haul, love the brass pig, sheep, molds.
Enjoyed watching Easter night. Happy Easter ❤
The little round tags were probably used for a coat check.❤ your loot!
Some nice items! The barrister bookcase looks in real nice condition. Love the sheep.
Bitd bath would look cool with an air plant in it. 🎉
This was such an interesting video towatch there was so much to see I'm going to have to watch it again ! The paintings were great and both old ones worth researching love the old lotto and bingo games for the graphics and pieces alone and Sandown is a race course in the UK 😊❤
Wonderful finds!
OMG what a score I love everything you got just amazing! Congrats!
Oh wow. That Budwiser light was a great deal!
I love when you tell us the prices you paid, thank you! ❤
Wow! Amazing treasures at that auction!
OMG! Don’t know where to start! Great haul you guys! I scored a bingo cage with the ball counters (like the one you got) at an online auction last year! Display it with several other vintage games.
The little lambs were priced at $6.25 or $625? I love them. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anything like them.
The higher 🥴
Awesome finds!
My 2 favorites were Mail Pouch sign, and spotted rocking horse.
But ya got alot of great items!
Yaa Chris and Yvonne y’all did good ❤️
A Hulk painting is Abraham Hulk 1875 and has value maybe 1-2 thousand
That is a Harold Gale Santa and very collectible. Be sure to look up comps.
Oh.. thank you for sharing that
You two have a lot of stamina to come home with that great haul. Staying till the end of an auction takes a lot of energy. How do you prepare for a long day at auctions + stopping at shops on the way home?
I think it the adrenaline … the shopping high🥴🤗
Omg you and Chris did amazing . That Santa is so cool . I’d love the bunny moulds ❤ thanks for sharing x
Everything was yummy. Can’t wait to see what you do with the makeovers.❤❤❤
Love this channel and you both are adorable!
Oh I NEED the spurs! That cow head I need rusty crusty to hold my towel in the bathroom ❤ what a FABULOUS FABULOUS HAUL!!!!! Those paintings, the register…. Ugh! SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS!!!!
Chris said I can’t Rusty crusty the bull. You know I wanted to. At least the wreath🤗
@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney😂😂😂😂
It would sell 😉😂
Hands down, the sheep
Now this was an amazing haul. You got me so tickled “ looook at that beautiful piece- Chris, oh but that item too”. To many wonderful things to say what was my favorite but those rocking horses wow. While you were looking at those Santa’s that one you picked up with handle and hole on top!? That thing was scary 😦 lookin.😂. 😊❤ oh yeah that great big Santa 🎅🏻 you got was a fantastic find.
Fun video! Are the molds for chocolate? I have a rooster collection so just love the unusual rooster mold and weathervane. Fun to see what different regions of the country are selling, Thanks again.
Those sheep are so you!! I've seen you use them in crafting. Those and the pumpkins are a you thing!!
Oh my heavens Yvonne, I am so jealous over some of the auction items you got this time. To me, while all the gambling items are interesting to look at they are not things I would ever be interested win purchasing and/or collecting. On the other hand, those cast iron items, the number tags from bingo games, cigars,, dough bowl (which is simply amazing), as is the race horse painting, and the salvages items y'all got. I can certainly see why this was an interesting action - there definitely was a rather strange mixture of items, but an amazing mixture at that. I'm like Steve in that I love barrister boxcases. We inherited a 4 shelf one from my mother=in-law,which I absolutely love. I have a cast iron round mirror that is exactly like the cast iron mirror y'all got on the stand. Mine just didn't have a stand to it, but I love the way it looks hanging on the wall. At the same time IO got it, I also got a beautiful oval cast iron trivet which I keep on the counter next to my stove. I love old cast iron pieces and you don't see them much anymore (at least in our area anyway).
Wow, a lot of good things today!😊
Was glad to see your husband with you!
Nice haul, glad you were able to get yourselves some thing's that make your ❤ happy. I had a chamber pot like the one you got ,I used it for a trashcan in my bathroom 😅
Just finished video and shopping! 😂 that “2 piece” chicken mold (bent one) is adorable ❤ again, GREAT HAUL
Oh my word!! The moulds!! The Christmas!!
The only thing about the ceramic Christmas trees is __ they are still being made.
You are an amazing couple just lovely to see 😘❤❤❤
As you have noted in your eBay listing, the roulette wheel, etc. in the Sandown box is part of an antique game made in London by F.H. Ayers. (The game likely was named for Sandown Race Course in Esher, in Surrey, England, near London. The race course was established in 1875 and is still operating. There also is a racecourse in Australia with the same name.) Depending on condition, the game can be worth several hundred dollars. Yours does look to be incomplete, so not as valuable as others, but still I neat group of items. As far as your horse racing painting is concerned (and assuming it's an original painting on canvas or wood board), its style and the ornate frame suggest 19th century. At least the label on the back suggests it' likely is British, but it's hard to tell more unless the back is opened. Two sources of specialized racing-related expertise here in the US include the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, NY, and Cross Gate Gallery located in Lexington, KY. Either or both should be able to offer some guidance on identifying and potentially valuing the painting. See their respective websites for contact information. Good luck!
Omg! I love the sheep! The pumpkin lanterns are so cool too. What a wonderful haul! TFS❣️Happy belated Easter 🐣
A. hulk I believe is Abraham hulk
Some old rare dice are made from bakelite, worth more
Oh.. good to know
Awesome finds! I like to collect Barware dice, there were some very nice pieces at the 1st sale. I also am looking for a ceramic lighted Christmas tree.
OMG that Budweiser light for $125 was a SUPER FIND!
Great stuff
Y'all have a great haul - some amazing finds!!
If ya ever get tired of resale, you could open an underground casino 😅 Your finds in this video are so good. I can't wait to see the Christmas vignettes you make this year!
Holy cow,! You get the coolest stuff.
I would love to have the kaleidoscope!! My favorite item.
Lots of great finds!
