When I was just out of high school, I worked in an old store that sold fabric and thread and remember the store had one of these cabinets. You did a pretty job of restoring the spool cabinet. I graduated in 1954. Your project brought back some good memories. Thank you.

That cabinet is beautiful. You always make things beautiful but when your husband said he was going to fix the sway the bending in it and he said I’m gonna make a cut here in it before he said the second cut my brain snapped and it was like I know what he’s gonna do. I know what he’s gonna do. He’s gonna slice into it, but not all the way and then very careful pressure and pop it, be like you say the perfect yet how’s that go? Anyway it turned out so beautiful. I mean you wouldn’t even had to do that because of how old it is but it’s like you guys just know like the pieces talking to you and telling you what to do and that piece that you did for someone in an up in an antique store thinking that the lettering was realthat just shows how good your talent is from God and I love the birdfeeders. You gotta give the cats a TV with their own kind of channel lol and I love how you decorate and then you take down and you move and you add and it just turns out beautiful, so congratulations and thank you again for such a wonderful show.

oh yes they watch cat tv.. tater is obsessed with the red string on my iPad. Makes it a bit hard to edit 😁
Really liked the idea what Chris did for taking out a warped wood n it worked. Now if I only had a table saw. It’s too bad about the Clark’s spool box. We learn sometimes the hard way. I’m really impressed how you fixed it. It looks pretty darn good. I remember when you did that Drew’s & Son’s. I found that pretty funny that they thought they had an original. Wow too, the price for it was really high.
I wish I could do a bird feeders like you but unfortunately our squirrels would have a hay day eating all the bird food. I have to use this piece you can buy that you put around your post, looks like an umbrella. They can be naughty squirrels.

I saw Cathy on Flea market Rescue. She was such charming and beautiful lady. She got to meet my two Michigan favorites so I’m jealous 😂. 😊❤

Love watching as always, and so jealous one of our girls got to meet you and it wasn't me, but she looked a great lady and I hoped she had a lovely vacation. Oh and at the end, your cat looking at the birds like that through the window, he did make me laugh🤣. The piece you did in the end, I thought turned out really nice, the fact that when you wiped over the lettering and it deepened the colour, (wasn't as bright), I thought this gave it age, and that it actually looked fine like that. In the end, you ended up with a beautiful little piece of history. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾💖 Sorry Chris forgot to say, you made a wonderful job on the bird feeder 😁

I live in the Upstate of South Carolina. There used to be a Coats and Clark manufacturing place around here somewhere. I need to look for a spool drawer like that. It will make organizing my thread so much easier!

I got a spool cabinet at a garage sale for $40 and the top of it is curved just like yours was so thank you for sharing how to fix that. I’ll pass it along to my husband. ❤
Chris I saw this trick to hang pictures with the wire in the back. Take a kitchen fork put the nail between the prongs slide the wire over the handle then remove the fork. Yvonne "fontlab" on your computer is a great place to go when trying to decide on a font. You type in the word you want then it will show you what it will look like in all the fonts that are installed on your computer. This has been such a time saver for me. I love Chris's cabinet with his toys. You both did a WONDERFUL job on the spool cabinet. TFS

Love the spool cabinet, turned out beautiful! Your collecting passion for baby/big ben clocks touched my heart. My dad was a tool and die engineer for General Times/Westclox who manufactured those clocks. He started working for them in 1955 and retired after 42 years. Keep on collecting 😊
