Air Traffic Management Meteorology Integration Solutions for Singapore Air Traffic Operations

Convective weather is the most disruptive operational constraint on Singapore’s air traffic. It’s the leading cause of aviation delays. Improved weather forecasting will help, but it’s insufficient to meet the needs of the air traffic operation. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and MITRE are collaborating to develop and field Air Traffic Management Meteorology (ATM-MET) integration solutions focused on convective weather challenges.
