Once it’s about the size of a tennis ball (60ish days), your kohlrabi is ready to harvest! Staple in our house since it grows well in our colder climate. The greens are also delicious. If you wait until it’s much bigger it will get woody and tough.

You totally can learn how to cook and cook from scratch. It’s really fun and rewarding to know that you made it all, and not from a box. I’ve got a collection started of cookbooks to help me cook from scratch as well as Pinterest recipes. 😊 You can do it!!! It also helps you control the ingredients more by doing it from scratch.

Making memories with your family is something you will never regret. When you're older it's nice to have them to look back on like now our kids are grown and we are creating memories with the grandchildren.
The egg nest are awesome we have those as well a friend was redoing his big chicken house and I snagged a bunch of the older ones for free.
Keep up the good work and God bless you all

A tiny little FYI in Baking you have to be exact on your measurements.I use dry measuring containers for all dry things such as flour..Spend the money for a good set
of measuring spoons!! The Baking Soda she put in the cookies is a very important ingredient and needs to be leveled off to make the best cookies..Thats the only trick to baking is follow the recipe and use proper measuring cups spoons for liquid and dry ingredients Your measuring cup is for liquids that you used...There’s a bit of a difference if you use a cup from a dry measuring cup and put it in a liquid cup..Just a FYI
I still remember being her age and making Angel Biscuits and cookies and Bread with my Nonnie!! I love that you let your kids learn and have fun while they learn that will stay with them and they will teach their children the same!! Love the video I’ve never grown Krabi What is it? What do they taste like? I too roast my radishes after Jess taught me!! I too have learned Radishes do t belong in Spring Garden I fought Aphids to badly now if you want to give Aphids something to eat in the Spring that’s what to plant in my opinion HAHA 😂 LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! She’s beautiful and So sweet!! Take Care 🤗♥️ Stay Warm 🥶 Sheila

Your welcome I’ve been cooking and baking as young as your little one... 😂 I love to bake but until you learn the art of baking I stick to the exact measurements and the recipe Then once you learn you can add things just like cooking you just can’t delete things in baking HAHA 😂 Im learning Keto breads and pastas these days!! So happy you got the nesting boxes! Score! And girl, if you can read, you can cook. I think you don’t give yourself enough credit. I learn an awful lot by watching cooking videos and enjoy the variety of foods I’ve learned to prepare! Everyone does it different, so if one is not your cup of tea, try another! Sometimes I’ll just do a search on UA-cam for cooking ‘X’, and find a treasure trove of simple recipes. Once you’ve watched someone else do it, it doesn’t seem so intimidating! A great traditional foods channel is Mary’s Nest. She gives wonderfully easy instructions and is so pleasant to watch. Check her out when you have a minute.
Really enjoyed watching you make memories with Charlie (sp). Your babies are beautiful, and have such sweet personalities 💕. God bless y’all!

@@WhisperingWillowFarm She’s In Her Apron is good to watch to her name is Kimmy lots of fun and great freezer and cook ahead meals So we can garden and have a meal already to dump in crock pot for dinner..Any recipe you have if it has the things you have in your cupboard and that you eat as a family It’s guaranteed to be a winner in your home!! I’ve not had one recipe that I’ve tried yet that I had the ingredients for that wasn’t a hit in our home..Don’t be intimidated with cooking and baking just line she said if you can read and follow instructions anyone can cook You just have the spend time with it not try to do other things while cooking at first that’s all...It’s line gardening out your heart in it and it will be great!! Good rule of thumb when cooking with eggs is breaking them in a separate bowl so you don't get egg shells in your food.

Baking is precise. Varying flour, sugar, baking powder, etc will change the cookie or cake's outcomes...more moist, more chewy, more flat or raised. It's a science combined with art. Play. Enjoy. It's always fun. 😊 Also, found this site, America's Test Kitchen, that teaches cooking basics and then some. Great resource!

I don't mean to nit pick or be negative, but I would appreciate if you made a conscious effort not use the word Nazi in a casual way. I know it is part of our slang now thanks to that Seinfeld episode, but it has become so commonly used and is really a slap in the face to the Jewish community. Better to say "I am the sugar police" or something similar. Police are meant to enforce rules and restrictions. The Nazis murdered millions. I know it is not your intention at all to be hurtful, but I point it out because so many of us (myself included!) have begun using that word with such a cavalier attitude we really lose sight of the history and the affect it continues to have on so many.
