Madden is so garbage this year 🗑️ cpu 72 overall qb cooking up the defense but I can’t throw an accurate 5 yard route with NO pressure 🙃

What pissed me off is when my receiver is past the line backer and the linebacker who’s looking the other direction intercepts it
I honestly don’t know how good or bad the game is I always play with my two sons we all play on one team my son is the quarterback, my youngest is a wide receiver or the running back and all I do is block and we love the game, in fact I can’t understand why electronic Arts doesn’t advertise this. It’s the ultimate family game and you can get generations hooked by selling this as a family game. We each have our rules and we have a blast. I don’t know what it’s like on a single game because I haven’t played it that way for a long time because I’m a dad now, but I can sure play with my boys and teach them a little bit of football at the same time so I make them lifetime, madden fans, and lifetime football fans…

I can work the pocket pretty good but the passing I cannot do , it's so different from 23 .Passes I normally complete be getting picked off left and right

Yes. Learn free form passing or you're going to underthrow the receiver every time and he'll need to slow down for the ball. Even on lob passes deep when he has a step on the DB.

Clicking to rush Qb is spotty.

How do you create a draft class in madden 24. I’ve spent an hour googling and I can’t find anything on it. I don’t see an option where I can create a draft class
Man just about every time I throw the ball it’s perfect and hits the receiver in the hands. Then someone could literally poke my receiver and they will drop the ball with the “break up” notification dropping. I’m not great at reads but it makes the game unplayable when I’m 40% completion rate on pro….
I was on board with the defense bein able to knock the ball out more and just force more incompletions in general but gd! If its not inaccurate is constantly swatted or under cut for a pick. I had zero problems throwing last year and now its absolutely miserable...WAY TO MANY SWATTED PASSES, its like they want you to hi pass it on every play 🤦
Agreed. Receivers will have yards of separation and the dbs just warp and undercut passes

Ratings don’t matter in madden.. I got dusted by some unknown 71 overall white receiver on the Titans going against Jalen Ramsey and Xavien Howard. Makes no sense.. the routes are broken and a lot of them are unguardable

You are either on last gen or have standard passing turned on
I kind of don't understand the climbing the pocket tip. So i just move up every time?
Once your Qb makes that initial 3 step back u stay there in the pocket once u have a good read climb the pocket to make those longer passes. It makes a huge difference
Just get use to making that initial 3 step drop and climbing the pocket to make reads.

how do you set your feet in the pocket?
Your feet are always set when you’re not moving. So if you climb the pocket make sure you release the left before you throw them lead with the stick again after you press the receiver button

Any time I make a throw there is always someone blocking my guys and I wait and let my defenders do their think and it works but the enemy is always blocking my offense and I can litteraly never make the play. (This vid dosent help)

How do I use my left stick when I'm running with my left stick. Do you mean the right stick to lead passes?
It’s the left stick, the way it works is, hold the left stick in whichever direction you want the ball to go and the receiver button almost simultaneously
I just got a.k.a. Peyton Manning, so I really do need to learn how to be a pocket passer as I was using Lamar, Jackson and Dak Prescott, and always rolling out. Can’t do that with Peyton. No no no.
I thought L2 was low pass. How is that freeform?
No more low pass option, just high ones. In the training under advanced techniques they show you a work around. Hold left analog down in free form passing.

You're forced to use free form passing in M24 if you want to lead a receiver in any direction unlike other Maddens

madden used be fun and easy to transition year to year, now its annoying... no matter what i do i throw more interceptions in 4 games than have in whole seasons .. its rediculous,... its like a pick way too many times in a game...

Amen. I’ve played Madden for years going back to my youth. I bought one for the first time in 7 or 8 years. The game is so bad I feel like I’ve never played madden before…I feel like I’ve never even seen a game of football before.
