Eric , have you been hearing anything about the Juke move not working in play now custom game mode while offline ?? My coach adjustments ball carrier setting is on balanced and my rb will not be fatigued and it’s still not working since the last update , I thought they tweaked it down some earlier but I still thought it worked pretty good and now it’s like nothing ? I’m using 8:12 PS5 . And thanks for all the great videos!
They made the game how they want it in real life they wanna see more points so defense is harder nobody tackles or nothing in this game it’s stupid 😂

Real madden tip. NEVER CHANGE ZONE DROPS!!! Just hilight the receiver. Again NEVER change the zone drops!! It’s literally how to make your defense worse.

Idk I’m 50/50 with the zone drop change to 30. I think it definitely depends on what team you’re playing against most folks playing with top tier Madden not nfl but Madden teams so you’re leaving a CMC Cooks Pacheco whoever in the flats but I like where you said go get the flats with that outside linebacker

What's up bro...been rocking with your content for a while now. Do you have any videos on how to reverse engineer some of these tips? For example...if I'm on offense and I notice a player zone dropping and taking away that corner route? Tips like that would be dope

Is there a way to see the offenseive players on the feild before picking a defensive play? Like how many wide reveivers and hb's/fb.
I know there's Coaching Suggestions. I played years ago, I don't remember that if it was possible or not to see offense talking the feild.
That's how they sub out players for real. Say maybe a FB comes out, a receiver comes on the feild.
The defense may want a change to a passing D formation and put a CB or Safety in, or faster linebacker etc..
I don’t hit stick but tackling and coverage been a problem for me if any advice
I run the ball and play cover 3 every play and adjust corners and I stop most people usering mlb they usually can run a bit on me but when they pass it’s usually a pick

Is there a way to disguise hybrid coverages even further? even with hybrids like cover 3 cloud a smart madden player can usually figure them out because the cornerback covering the flat is 5 yards off the LOS compared to the corner on the cover 3 side which is about 7 yards off

Anybody know how people are stopping cover 3 and 4 beaters? The corners are sprinting back so fast lol and Ive tried overtop cov and backing off but it doesn’t work

As a beginner, I'm kind of confused. Do people just run the same defensive formation over and over, with small adjustments based on what the opponent is doing?
Honestly yes 😂 you might have 2-4 plays at your disposal (just to change up looks) but more times than not people are coming out with their “bread and butter” plays and are adjusting to how you’re playing. There’s no one coverage that’s gonna clamp everything 100% of the time, but the name of the game is to force people into making mistakes.
@SldOnEmWithDa45 since my post I've learned a bit. My fav defence is the Pats playbook in the 6-1. I use cover 4 contain and campaign 2. Cover 4 if I predict a run or a long pass, tampa 2 with my curl flats set to 5 to protect against those RPO plays. I might throw some cover 2 man out there now and then, same goes for blitzes.

Good stuff Eric, my one question is with the zone defenses (not running match coverage), do you ever shade a particular way like one might do with man coverage?
Only time I would shade in zone coverage is down occasionally if people are constantly throwing short and I'm trying to bait them into a pick.
Tip defense is op no real life defense gets the knock outs on WRs the way this terrible game allows. 😂

would it make a difference with you being in base defense compared to being in a nickel defense. I say that because having 3 or 4 linebackers is a major difference to having 2-3 DBs playing .

3:45 sure you defended the corner route but if the user is smart and good at the game hitting the underneath is easy free yards.

I really wish PRC and AWR mattered more. Young or bum DBs should occasionally blow a coverage or jump an underneath route. Would make having players who aren't just freak athletes matter more.
