As I get older, don't have a big appetite, so I rarely eat at buffets anymore. But I sure love watching you guys enjoy them. Totally agree with Derek on the bone marrow!

Honestly I've never liked buffets, but the cosmopolitan works off that. It does not feel like a buffet. The portions are usually small portions and it is fantastic.
They specifically make the portions fairly small so you can eat more.
I always look forward to seeing you two. When you get to 200,000 subs I wanna see Derek eating the entire shrimp just like Catherine does.

Derek's facial expressions are enjoyable to watch. The interactions between the two of you is just entertaining.
This Buffet had so many awesome items to choose from. It was the first time I saw a server ask how you liked your meat and then grilled it some more to perfection. Now that was customer service. Also the shrimp looked like they were maybe 6-10 count , don't think they were 10-15 count. For those that do not know that is the scale they use per pound. In my home state we have shrimp season in May and in August and it usually last about 2 months. I always get an ice chest of 21-25 count as they are perfect for everything from frying to a gumbo. As far as eating shrimp whole and unpeeled, well that was different, but if that is how she likes them then go for it. Anyone going to Vegas should put "The Wicked Spoon Buffet" on their list of places to eat at. Great Video!

The server at the prime rib station was great. This is the type of person you want to engage the customers and represent the restaurant.

Great job as always, Derek & Catherine! I was blown away by the gentleman operating the carving station. Talk about customer service! You can see the thoughtfulness in his demeanor, it's easy to tell that's someone who takes pride in their work.

I lived with my Victorian-Ear grandmother growing up, and every now and then she'd bring home bone marrow from the butcher, and we'd have them after dinner as a treat; OMG, it was like eating the best-tasting meat ever, combined with fattiness of the best frozen custard... To this day I still love the stuff! It's no surprise that early humans virtually lived on eating only bone marrow!
First we had buffets, but no Catherine. Then, we had Catherine but no buffets. Now, we have Catherine AND buffets. The only thing missing is me. I'll be there as soon as Canada lets me come.

I remember the days (for me in the 1970's) when Vegas buffets were practically free, as an enticement to keep the customers inside of their casino. $1.99 was not unheard of.

I'm with my wife in Vegas this week. April 17 through April 22. That's Monday through Friday.
We couldn't get into the Buffet at the Wynn on Monday. It was a four hour wait for dinner.
On Tuesday we walked to the Cosmo to have breakfast at the Wicked Spoon. The server was good. The presentation was good. And we were third in line with reservations.
I was totally Underwhelmed. Nearly all of the food that should be reasonably warm, just wasn't.
The fried chicken was good though.
Tomorrow...We'll try the Wynn Buffet for breakfast again.
I look forward to all your videos and I've been watching them from the beginning forwards. So much fun to watch and keep safe

II wasn't sure if we'd ever see self-serve buffets again, so happy to see you two enjoying the Wicked Spoon! Although I wasn't a anti-masker I didn't care much for wearing them, it's so nice to go places now and see people's faces. I really missed smiles. Smiling makes us feel good. My people would describe the prime rib as being "blue," meaning it still looks alive. I like my prime rib pink.
Pretty sure they will cook it on grill a bit longer for you .

Glad to see the buffets opening again...but couldn't help noticing that food items were not plentiful nor were they quickly restocked. You know how you tend to give a restaurant's food the side eye if the bathrooms are filthy? That's how I feel about slop I'm seeing around the buffet stations. So if I were making a choice I guess I'd give the Bacchanal a try. Don't know if the Wynn buffet is back yet but that was always my personal favorite. Plus, I like to stay there so it's handy too.
