- To clarify, Jessie and I went to one Sushi buffet before going to Umami. The first place was very subpar and service was poor as well. Even so, I never add negative experiences from local restaurants in case that was just a bad day for them.

I too take ques from ‘ mukbang ‘/ adventures in eating videos. It helps ! May I suggest Tzuyang . She is a UA-cam food enthusiast also. Most of her videos have subtitles, but the universal love of food is most certainly shown in less than words .

I've been watching every Mikey Chen video for the last 15 months to kick start my appetite. Then I go cook some good food or get some fresh made ramen noodles from takeout. I think Mikey has had a huge effect on keeping local businesses going because he motivates people to go get some delicious food.
I always love watching Mikey and Jessie's sisig agenda haha. They're always on the look out for great sisig places. I fully support this cause.

Umami is my favorite AYCE sushi place in Vegas. Couple things I need to mention, the salmon collar (as well as hamachi collar) is 1 order per person only...and it's normally only served during dinner. some sushi is also 1 per person like the salmon belly and tuna belly.

Umiya Sushi is my favorite AYCE sushi place in town. Part of the reason I love it is it offers half-rolls so you can try more of them.
I’ve been seeing Cafe Sanuki everywhere whenever I look up somewhere to eat (I live in Vegas). You’ve convinced me to try it I’m gonna drag my husband here! Haha he doesn’t really eat udon/ramen, but he’ll love the rice bowls for sure!
Also adding: you made Full House look SO GOOD! I used to live walking distance from there & my in-laws (were all Filipino) brought some food from there when indoor dining was closed & we didn’t particularly like it. I think we just got the wrong foods/we need to eat it there!
