So at the show we ran into raise who have ventured into DLP resin with a new ecosystem that was desgin by someone who hates tocuhing things but really love buttons, this workflow means you dont have to touch you part until its ready to be cured and looks freaking awesome while it does it

Love seeing more DLP printers. Hopefully one day we can get a hobbyist DLP at a lower price, mid size print volume, and similar vat and build plate construction to the heygears or gktwo

we are seeing if we can convince raise to send us one to play about with but the just keep laughing at as haha

It looks like it is using the cheap 720p DLP projector like in Anycubic Photon D2 or Elegoo Mars 4 but built in the fancy machine. The projector has very weak energy output due to the XPR thus the long print times. Still it has all the other good features of the DLP but forget the special resins like bio-compatible for dental.

so without cracking it open or having one on the test bench we cant really say, this videos is only their announcement and because it was at the show we were limited with what we could show

@@Honeybadger3Dprintandpaint it is just assumption based on already published data. At Fabbaloo there was a slide from presentation which showed the output power 2,2mW/cm2 (500mW for the whole built area) and print speed 25mm/h which is very slow and corresponds with the low power (and same as Anycubic D2). Printers with native DLP chip (without XPR) has ~10mW/cm2 output power. Also the resolution 2560x1440 is the same as Anycubic and Elegoo.
Hobby parametters for proffessional price (kind of).

Lovely features but ouch over 6K inc tax if you buy in Europe! out of the hobbyist market.

I would say that all of raise is out of the hobbiest market really, like ultimaker they just target a different market I would compare this more to a formlabs
